I took a nap yesterday after lunch. As I lapse into dreaming I see for a moment how the mind makes up stories (through judgment) about everything. This is how dreams come about. In a sense the mind is in free fall and makes up stories about whatever residual input and judgments the mind is occupied with. But it becomes clear to me that this is also how our “waking reality” gets put together. It is more reliably consistent than our dreams because of the group “effort” of all of humanity, not to mention that of nature, but is no less a dream. All of it is brought about by the perception of the senses and judgments of the mind (and all the miniature energetic substances – atoms, photons, etc., combined in all the various ways we have given names to –minerals, plants, animals). We mistake this to be reality. We all agree that it is solid and real but it is really an elaborate mass illusion that is an obstacle to awareness of the “truly real” spiritual reality of our being that is the basis for, and that upholds the apparatus of, our bodies and minds and all physical “reality” that we mistake to be our true and only selves and our true and only world.
When we are fully present in awareness to our spiritual reality (through a mental body trained on spirit in cooperation with the intuitive body and a third, spiritual, body that focuses the will) it will slowly dawn on us that even this spiritual reality is not the truly real. We will only be able to begin to see from that level of awareness that a still finer “substance” (call it the Divine) is the basis for and the upholder of the spiritual. We will then seek to “wake” from even the spiritual level of awareness that we may comprehend the Divine. So it appears we are the Divine dreaming we are spiritual “body” in a spiritual world that in turn is dreaming that we are a physical body in a physical world that is often asleep and dreaming still more.

You are the light of the world.” When you are free of all your cravings and so of self-centeredness “Your light so shines before men” that all are inspired and will seek to follow after. This perhaps is the last temptation – to see oneself as leader, a worldly king, thinking you are spiritual, laying down rules, prescribing doctrine. No, this is not Your destiny. Encourage others inspired by the Light to seek it within themselves for each must come to it themselves by there own means, with there own motivation. Do not push. This will only push others away. Simply shine as the sun that all who do not hide their eyes may see a way. Take no pride for it is I that shines forever through your vehicle. Yes, You Are That that I Am but pride is light turned to darkness in the mind and results from identifying yourself as separate from others. You are not. Yes, You Are I andyou are all others as well for You know that I Am. Look upon all, therefore, with compassion out of humility in the awareness of the ignorance you entertain as the world. The world in which Your light, the Light, shines. Your destiny is to reach out with empty hands and find them overflowing with abundance and power to serve My Purpose. “All these things shall be added unto you.” Perfect peace is your providence.Providence according to Microsoft Word’s dictionary:

The wisdom, care, and guidance believed to be provided by God.

God perceived as a caring force guiding humankind.

Good judgment and foresight in the management of affairs or resources.

The Age of Aquarius is supposed to be characterized by synthesis and group work where the Age of Pisces’ keynotes were idealism and individuality. I tend towards self absorption, introversion, and idealism. How shall I adjust my daily activities and habits so that I may be more responsive to the spirit of the incoming Age?

Meditate, meditate, meditate, serve, serve, serve. Meditate, serve, meditate, serve, meditate, serve. Meditation is introverted. Service is extroverted. Balance is the key. You cannot serve well, appropriate to your skills and capacity without the awareness gained from quieting the mind, emotions, and bodily desires. You cannot gain awareness as an individual that excludes the wide world of others. The best service you can render another is to know them. They are often able to fill their own need and would prefer to if given the opportunity. Sometimes, though, it is of great benefit to another that you would see their need (by knowing them) and fill it. It can be a poignant boost to their morale, even their own awareness. To know others is to know yourself for the delusion of separation is a figment of your collective and individualized imagination and is not real.

In every group you find yourself in, be it your family, your workplace, your friends, your spiritual center, your neighborhood, perhaps you find yourself among enemies – even them, aim to know them, find the need (through meditative awareness) of the group that you may fill and demonstrate Our Love by serving that. That is all. Criticism, judgment, emotional reactivism have no place in group work. Avoid them like the plague. Discern only what is for you to do as an integral part of the group and leave it to others to discern their part. I will give direction for your work that aligns perfectly with My Purpose.

It seems that critical thinking and judgment is so important to daily life and the working out what is important to life – how to spend one’s life. Yet it is this same critical thinking and judgment that causes me to be resentful of others and even myself for the stupid, foolish and mean acts that I and others perpetrate in often unthinking ways. Is not critical thinking the means to correcting wrongs and deciphering what is right? Yet, it leads to resentment!

First let Me point out that you used the phrase “causes me to be resentful”. Your usage of the language indicates that you are still identifying with form. Remember that form is not just the physical body and its nervous organic computer system, the brain, but also the emotional body which is more complex than you know, coloring the perception of all you think you know, and the form is also the mind with all its thought-forms made of substance so fine it can only be detected at its densest level as waves. You are not any of this. These are Your apparatus for experiencing what You are not so that in comparison You are afforded experience of what You Are.  You cannot be resentful or stupid. These are only forms and You are not those things.

Critical thinking is a necessary and good faculty of form and must be developed before the form can serve the Self with any intelligence. Let the form give it the due attention it deserves. Judging other forms and itself is part of a maturing process that readies the form for higher work. Through such judgment experience is gained so that eventually the form is able to recognize the very truth that I recommend now – that the form is not the true Self, that there is more to life than form life and that in fact form life in comparison to true Life is like that of a dream – pretend life. This is not to say that what happens in form life does not matter. What happens in form life is crucial to true Life’s ability to experience Itself. Awareness of the true Self and so of true Life is developed through the experience of form life. Little by little awareness grows until it has the capacity to hold the subtleties of the abstract and sublime. Critical thinking is an essential tool for deciphering the real from the unreal. One must use this faculty with complete honesty of mind if the true Self is to be discerned and true Life realized and differentiated from illusion.

The judgment of others and self is practice for a higher form of discernment. When one is ready this painful practice must be put aside in favor of service to the realization of the true Self. Critical thinking, however, in the form of judgmentalness, has by this time become an entrenched addiction. Like drug and alcohol addiction it does not get lightly put aside. It badgers and clings to you like a snake skin too tight to keep wearing that yet resists breaking and falling away. There is nothing to do but “be still and know that I Am God”. Leave all such judgment to Me. I Will, in due time and in grace, dispose of all wrong and make all things turn to good in perfect all seeing judgment. Just be still in mind, heart and body so that your spirit can rise to the surface of your attention, of your awareness. With the insights that come from intuitive listening in spirit turn the critical thinking capacity to the discernment of what is true, good and beautiful. Keep a healthy skepticism but leave behind the itchy addiction to cruel cynicism and judgmentalness. It takes time. It is a process of awakening, a gradual growing of awareness. Eventually, with the practice of applying Critical thinking to the service of discerning the sublime truth that is secreted away within the Soul you will succeed in knowing your true Self and subsequently the true Self of all “others” and the tight hurt filled skin of judgmentalness that comes from identification with form will fall away.

You keep telling me that there is nothing I need do, just be still. How will anything get done if I do not do it? Shall I depend on others to do the doing? After sitting in the stillness a while it seems it is time to get up and do something useful, something of service.

You are identifying with the body again. The forms are for doing, for giving and receiving, but these are not your true identity. It is a mistake to identify with them. It causes you to become lost in doing, in need, in lack, in fear. If you would truly love you must be still, unattached to outcomes, or you will turn to manipulative doing of all kinds to achieve your goals. This is not necessarily to say have no goals, it is to say be detached from them, do not identify with them, they are but another form. You need the form to manifest through, but you do not need to be attached to such manifestation. Such attachment causes you to be lost from Me.

Be still in all you do means to be grounded in Me in whatever is going on about the form, about the body. The body, emotions, and mind, are very sophisticated instruments that automatically respond to situations that arise in form. When you have practiced being still and so practiced being aware of My Presence, My simple Divine Impulse of Love Everlasting will guide the body, emotions and mind to and through the most beneficial actions for any given situation. Such actions will always take the form of loving service to your fellows of one kind or another. This is how you may recognize an act generated by My Impulse.

So do not be concerned with what you shall eat or what you shall wear. You are not the form that consumes and dresses. The form will take care of that automatically as I designed it to if you will stop identifying with it. Know Me and all else will be in perfect order because the form you occupy will follow My Divine Impulse of Love.

I watched the movie called Last Station about the end of Leo Tolstoy’s life. I have not read Tolstoy but in the movie he seemed a man that I can resonate with, one who wrote and spoke (much more intelligently and eloquently than I, I am sure) of the kind of thing that I write about on the Magic Tree web site. In the movie it was striking how Tolstoy’s followers were much more adamant about what Tolstoy taught than Tolstoy himself was. His followers seemed to be more concerned with building an organization and society that lived by Tolstoy’s words than actually living in the spirit of compassion and love, which is what Tolstoy, himself, summed up as the source of all religions and presumably all his inspiration. Is his follower’s tact (that is, one of law and order for the establishment of an organized movement) an example of idealism gone awry? Is it appropriate to organize a group of believers around an ideal or does it always lead to a loss of the teaching in the morass of organization?

Organization is another kind of form. Identify with the form and you will be lost. An ideal is also a form. Identify with an ideal and you will be lost in idealism. Every organization under the sun must crystallize the thought around which it is organized in order to create a consistent form others can identify with and so join and support. The older an organization is the more it tends to become entrenched in the forms it has established to uphold its own form. The more a person identifies with that organization the more they tend to be uncomfortable with anything that differs with that collective’s point of view.

Tolstoy’s followers, those that were determined to organize a movement around him and the love he taught were bent on doing so regardless of the cost. So, while they identified with his words, they ignored his spirit of compassion. They spoke of love as though the only way to apply it was intellectually and without emotion. This is an attempt to apply love with dispassion and detachment which is the only way to love unconditionally, and so, is the correct approach. However, as so often happens with crystallization of ideas, this approach was misinterpreted in this way: that dispassion and detachment meant intellectualism and aloofness. Because of this misinterpretation and because of identification with the misinterpretation the organization took a callus approach to achieving its means that lacked genuine love.

We can see this kind of approach used over and over again in every past and present human organization, religious or otherwise. Examples abound and do not need to be pointed out. Does this mean that organization should be abandon? Every organization that comes about whether religious or otherwise has a first cause of love. Even a hate group has such an origin because they identify with some form they love that they feel is threatened by whatever it is they hate. Organizations are forms. Forms are needed for the expression of love. Organizations, fundamentally, are therefore for the purpose of giving a group expression of love. Participate in organizations but do not be attached to them. Do not identify with them just as you know not to identify with your own bodily form. Exercise dispassionate unconditional love across the board to all forms whether they be human organizations or some other form. Remember that love with dispassion does not mean without emotion and aloof. It means that emotion is not used to determine what is loving, but rather, the love that you express is without condition. Emotion is unreliable because you tend to attach yourself to it but emotion may still be expressed because it is a form designed for that purpose. To be detached from a thing is to be unidentified with it. It is this very refusal to identify with a thing (such as an emotion) that then renders the thing usable for its divinely intended purpose.

How shall I be still? I have such difficulty getting my mind to be quiet.

Being still is simple but when identification with mind, body and emotions is present stillness is well nigh impossible. All things are possible with Me however.

First let go of anything that has upset you by remembering that you are not the form and so cannot be harmed in anyway by anything anyone has ever done or said to you. The form senses harm but this is an illusion, so drop it. You cannot move forward with the reigns of resentment or fear holding you back, so say a prayer that releases those who have hurt your mistaken identity; a prayer that holds them and all in loving kindness and forgiveness for no one who dwells in mistaken identity knows what it is they are doing – they are just like you in your mistaken identity. Ask for their release and liberation in the light of truth.
Second, set the body (preferably one that is rested and not over stimulated with caffeine) in a poised position of relaxed attentiveness with a posture that includes an upright and straight spine, preferably unsupported by a back rest. Breath normally and close the eyes. Closing the eyes is a signal to the body to quiet the physical activity of the sensing organism.
Now. Take charge of the mind. Place the mental eye of attention on the central point in the forehead between the eyebrows. This point, the Ajna Center corresponds to a spiritual center of energy that connects the mind to Me, the observer and relay of the divine impulse, your true Self.

Use the OM silently thinking it. OM or AUM is the closest the human mind can come to the sound or Word or Song with which I bring all into being. All that is is a derivative of My Word and is contained within My Song. When you place your attention on the Ajna Center and think OM think only of Me, your divine Self.

Now. Stop thinking OM and just listen for Me, the soul, to sound the OM at My level of being. Listen and keep listening in the silence. My sounding is silence to the human mind so you must listen with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength to hear your Soul. I promise that if you will do this you will recognize My pouring forth of My blessing of loving peace upon you. You will sense the freedom from form I represent.

Establish a regular time for it and practice this method at least once a day for 20 to 30 minutes.

OM is the closest you can come to giving Me a proper name. It is the same meaning as “I Am” or “Amen”. It is the human reflection of the Word I utter from the beginning (Christ Principle, Only Begotten Son of God) and that brings all into being. It is the Word You Are in Your Divine Inheritance as the small human mind turns its attention away from the manifest forms toward the Unmanifested (and so nameless) Spirit.

I Am Nameless. I Am beyond human capacity to comprehend and yet I Am That that You Are. I draw you toward Me out of form. You, manifest in form, little by little draw toward Me and through reflecting That that you truly are, make Me manifest in form. I become demonstrated through you. But do not attach yourself to any demonstration of Me for the manifestation is not the true essence and I would have you be with Me in and share in My Intrinsic Being. When you attach yourself to any demonstration of My Being you confuse the manifestation with the reality of My Divine Presence. No form can hold Me. That is why I Am nameless. You can only make a tiny aspect of Me visible in form – the form you occupy. So be not attached so that you may become aware of a greater share of Me.

What of sex?

Sex is the animal’s form for reproduction. The human form shares the animal platform of expression but with a greatly enhanced capacity for mind and potential for higher than mind forms of expression.

In animal/man, mind and emotion and physical sensation are mixed together to form passion. Passion and thus sex, as an expression of bodily passion, are highly addictive. They become a preoccupation to the detriment of the growth of awareness in spirit. Detachment is the antithesis of passion and, as with all addictions, must be employed to curb the sexual appetite of the one who is sincerely interested in the sublime awareness of the higher Self.

The same is true of the passion for food causing one to overeat; or for drugs or alcohol causing one to self medicate, numbing the mind. When you identify yourself with the form you occupy, these addictions loom large and alluring and are so easy to give in to instead of using detachment to regulate and dissuade the passions of life. These passions keep the pendulum swinging from the extremes of the highs and lows of ecstatic ness and those of depression and self (and other) loathing.

There is nothing wrong with engaging in sexual activity with a partner as an expression of the committed love you share. Committed, because sexual activities produce young that need a commitment from responsible parents to their care and nurturing. Sure, you can engage in all manner of other (protected from fertilization and disease) sexually arousing activity. It is stimulating for the body and emotions, like eating and drinking and doing drugs together (or by one’s self). It is really nothing more than this. I do not condemn you for it, I merely observe and wait with eternal patience for you to turn your attention to Me and begin to climb the ladder of consciousness to a greater awareness of your birthright.

You think of one who abstains from sex and overeating and drinking as prudish and dull. This is, in the main, a result of the tactics and judgment of those who would impose My Purpose and My Teaching on the unwilling. This is always a mistake. Each must come to Me themselves of their own free will. I will have it no other way so never attempt to make Me an imposition on others, you will only turn them against Me and cause all manner of strife and war.

One need only abstain from sex addiction and other addictions, if they desire freedom from addiction. It is as simple as that.
Why would you want to be free of the desire for sex, or the pleasure of eating all manner of great tasting food, or the pleasant numbing of drink? Because the pleasure is only fleeting and temporary and, if you’re paying attention and honest with yourself, you can see it leads to relatively permanent unhappiness and ill health when you are addicted to it.

I would have you bring intercourse between the matter of the form you occupy and the spirit that you are, a far more lasting high that leads to permanent happiness and the bliss of heaven on earth. This opportunity is always at hand but you cannot see it with the logs of addictions in you eyes. Be rid of them, having tossed them into the fiery abyss, and stand free to climb and mount the winds of spirit and share with Me the subtle joy of love without condition. You cannot do this and be subject to the whims and desires of the form you occupy. Remember, You are not that pretender that identifies with form. You are the One who sees beauty, loves truth, is goodness (not prudish, but the goodness that is all that I have created) and relays My Divine Impulse to the consciousness in form.
I await your awareness.

Tell me more about the Holy Spirit and the Supreme Being.

The Holy Spirit is the Holy Mother, the Divine Feminine. Mary, the mother of Jesus, symbolizes this Divine Aspect which is an aspect of Myself. She represents the whole of form, the firmament, out of which I have created all that can be beheld in the pentacle of matter, emotion, mind, intuition, and spirit. She is the One I Impregnate with You, Only Begotten Son, the One who dwells within form but is not of it. You are embryo within it and born into it. She nurtures you and gives you many lessons designed to help you remember who You Are. You get lost in her like one of a lover, over and over you plant the seeds of your own imprisonment in her labyrinth designed for another purpose.

When you awake from the dream You see the true purpose of Her wiles and begin to relay My Divine Impulse, My Seed. You Impregnate Her anew with My Seed. You Love Her unconditionally with out attachment so you no longer lose yourself in Her, She, the very form that has borne you these many lifetimes, which has lifted you up through all the experiences of life to an awareness of Your Divine Self, an Immaculate Conception, My Supreme Being.

You are My Progeny. All that is Me manifesting through the auspices of form, the Holy Mother, as the Silent Observer, is the Supreme Being. It is the Holy Mother’s Purpose in all of Her wide dispersment through the cosmos pentacle and beyond (for She is more abundant than you can know) to give expression to the Supreme Being, My Son, the Divine Watcher in Whom You Live and Move and have Your Being.

Please comment on why the first aspect of the Holy Trinity, the One we typically think of as God, is thought of as Father and the third aspect of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit is thought of as Mother and the One in the middle as Son, as opposed to the other way around with the Holy Spirit as Father and God as Mother and the One in the middle as Daughter. Is there not a gender bias represented in this, and if so, why?

Ah, the machinations of the mind are unrelenting! You must know, My sublime Supreme Being incognito, that all this must be dropped along with the ego’s sense of self if you are to know My true Word which is your true Self.

First of all, it’s all God. Ultimately speaking, there is no hierarchy. All is of, and is the One First Principle. There is no other.

There appears, however, to be a different story in form. Form, the out working of My Holy Spirit, is put in place to create a field of contrast (“A Field of Dreams” – the movie, “a land of make believe” – The Moody Blues) which in turn allows for experience to take place. Experience leads to consciousness, then self consciousness. In the exploration of the self consciousness of form comes awareness of the higher Self in spirit which is finally realized as the One true Self as the machinations of the lower self are put to rest. The form then becomes a Self-realized instrument of Truth and reflects it and expresses it in form.

All form is symbolic. Nothing is simply as it appears in form. Always there is symbolized the higher relationships in spirit. Attach yourself to form and you blind yourself to this. Only when you are unattached and exercising honesty of mind and sincerity (Maitreya’s 3 steps to Self realization) can you see clearly.

The male and female apparatus symbolize how I the Father of all things implant My Seed in I the Mother of all things, there to grow and be nurtured in the Mother (form, Mother Nature). All who are in form and see themselves as such may be called My Beloved Daughters, for they are in form and are the receptors of My Seed, the nurturers of My Spirit. All who recognize themselves as spirit, and so as One with Me, may be called My Beloved Sons.

Understand that this means that it matters not what gender the particular form is that you occupy. Male or female, at the higher turn of the hierarchical spiral of form, all form is female, mother, in relationship to the indwelling spirit. Whether you occupy a female or male body, at the higher turn of the spiral all indwelling spirit is male in relationship to the form. This is because at this higher turn of the spiral, the relationship has shifted from that of one person in form to another person in form, to the One who is not the form, but rather occupies it, in relation to the form that it indwells.

So, whether you occupy a male or female body, beloved, from the perspective of spirit the body you occupy is female, My Beloved Daughter, and no less of Me than anything else. And know this, I go to great pains to identify with My Holy Spirit aspect that so dutifully and wonderfully manifests all that you can sense, feel, and think. I, your Mother God, speak to you constantly in the language of form. The very words and concepts represented on this page are an example and so is the apparatus that is the physical body and mind, the emotions and all the natural and so called “man” made world. You are Me identifying with this aspect of Myself. It is because of this that I Am Able to speak to you this way as a personal Father God when in fact I Am quite beyond any form’s ability to comprehend. I do this through the apparatus of Mother God which in this case are the words on the page and the mind that writes them.

The machinations of the entire vast universe are for the infinite outworking in time and space of an expression that can at the end of all things, (for time/space cannot contain Me) in the Eternal Now give expression to the whole of My Being. You need not wait for the end of all things, of course, to know Me. Simply practice stillness and know. As you become better at being truly and sincerely still, allowing you to enter in to the Eternal Now, you enter in consciousness into that which is always present to You, My Eternal Presence. This is the meaning of becoming perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect. This cannot occur in form, but through self-consciousness captured through form and Self-awareness in contrast to form, You Self-Realize perfection in Me.

And, whether you occupy a female or male body, you are My Beloved Son for your true Self is not made of the Mother, form, but merely nurtured by Her. The Mother’s end purpose is to represent accurately the spirit in form. A representation, though it may be made of the same stuff, is not the same as what it was made to nurture and represent. For all is made of Me, but You My Son, are to Be Me Planting My Seed in My Daughter, the form you occupy, bringing about a tiny expression of that that I Am. We could call this relatively perfect expression a grandson or granddaughter, of the Most High, if you will.

When Jesus came out of the baptismal waters and I alighted on him like a dove and said “This is My Beloved Son in Whom I Am well pleased” it is because Jesus had done the great work of Self-Realization as My Perfect and Only Begotten Son. He accomplished completely opening the channel (the golden thread, sutratma, or antahkarana, the channel of light between You, the indwelling spirit, and the man or woman in incarnation in form) to the form He occupied for My Divine Impulse to flow into My Mother Aspect, the form. Thus He manifested a perfect (relatively speaking) expression of I AM.

Is there a gender bias you ask? Indeed there is from the ego’s perspective. Why? The ego knows nothing but bias. The ego will always look for and so find that things are either for it to exploit or for it to fight against.

From spirit’s perspective all is always in perfect order and always outworking for good according to My Divine Impulse. I see what I have made and behold, it is very good.

Many would call what I am doing here blasphemous. Please speak to me about blasphemy. Do I disrespect You by writing words in the framework of You Speaking to me, through me?

Who do you think you are anyway?! I Am All that is. I Am Even All that is not! I Am Totality, Omniscient, Omnipresent, Transcendent and Intrinsic. Do Not Doubt Me. In actuality You can do nothing but speak for Me, even with your attribute of free will, for You are Me as is all My creation and free will isMy Attribute. Therefore, be at peace.

This is a question of perception and interpretation of what has been said through any particular action or word.

But what of my ego, is it not an illusion of a separate self that usurps awareness of what You have just said? Is it not like a great Satan that would usurp awareness of the truth by pretending to be God or like a god or like God, knowing the difference between good and evil, knowing the truth? How shall I defend myself before those who would accuse me of being influenced by the devil in what it is I have written on these pages?

What of it? Indeed! It is true that the ego is a pretender, a usurper to the throne of Israel, which is not an earthly kingdom but a divine one inhabited by all who have accepted their divine inheritance and realized the true Self. It matters not what religion one has or whether one even has a religion. It matters not what race one is. All are invited. So far, few have accepted with whole heart, their inheritance.

I Ask, who do you think you are? If you think you are separate from Me and so say these things attaching yourself to them, egotistically thinking aren’t I something, aren’t I special for being able to bring this through for others to read and be enlightened by, then you have fallen from grace and deceived yourself which makes you an agent of the Deceiver, the evil one, Satan.
But if you remain detached, practice honesty of mine and sincerity of spirit, claim nothing for yourself knowing that all good, all truth and all beauty, including all that You truly are, is divine and of divine origin and belongs to the One Supreme Being, the Only Begotten of God, then you are on the path of Self-realization and practicing the art of Son-ship, the prodigal son returning to the house of his Father.

Who shall be your judge? I Say, let he who has no ego throw the first stone. All who would condemn you are full of egoistic hypocrisy. The very thought of condemnation reveals the condemned within the one condemning. Who deems themselves worthy of condemning another? Only one who is caught in the illusion of separation and unaware that they whom they condemn is themselves. In the case of blasphemy they make the very mistake they accuse another of making.

How shall you defend yourself? Don’t bother. This would only get you egotistically involved. You are not that, so do not be drawn in. Let whatever accusations stand or fall as they may. They only have to do the actors on the stage.

On the Magic Tree website I introduce this material as such that should be taken as merely the musings of Will Treelighter until it can be corroborated as true by one’s own experience. Isn’t this claiming it for myself and attaching myself to it?

You have given sound advice, for no one should take someone else’s word for what is true without checking it out for them selves. Truth is an inside job. Others can inspire and convey but it is up to each actor on the stage to make space in their act for the stillness that is required to hear My Voice for them selves, stop identifying with the actor and know what intrinsically is true, beautiful and good – the true Self Inseparable from Me. What you suggest is not the same as identifying with these words yourself. If you do identify with these words while perceiving yourself as separate form Me, or from others, then stop it. They do not belong to the ego. The ego can hold nothing in its grasp for it is like a phantom that desperately clings to what it cannot hold because it has no reality. The ego is like a projection on the movie screen attempting to reach out from the screen and grasp a handful of popcorn from the person in the first row. Not going to happen. Let go of it all and be what You Are, Me, Here, I Am.

What is my purpose?

Your purpose, should you accept it, is to Be Me in the experience of being in form and through making of expression of Me in the world of time and space.

You are not the form or the expression of Me that you make, but you do have the experience of being in form as Me The Observer. You Are Me (for there is not but that that I AM) experiencing form whether you realize this or not, but you can remain ignorant of this for as long as you like in time and space. In Eternity it is a different matter. There, ignorance is not possible. So, as a creature of time and space you have free will choice to accept My Purpose whichis Your Purpose or remain lost and ignorant of the Divine for as long as you want (want identification with from). There is no other true Purpose in My Being in form.
I Am Infinitely Vast and the Eternal Reservoir of Unexpressed Perfect Love and Goodness. It is My Desire to express that which I AM. Love and Goodness dictate that this be a free will choice by the form through which such expression may take place. In this way your purpose, first and foremost, is to choose what it is you desire to express through the form you find Your Self occupying. This is a little complicated for you because you identify with what it is you occupy which is a mistake and so you are full of illusions regarding what the choices are before you.

By mistaking your Self for the form you are subject to all manner of needless fear and trepidation regarding your preservation and so become selfish, “looking out for number one”.  Only through stillness can you realize your true Self and so find clarity in the real singular choice before you. Singular because there is but one great choice – to be what You Are or to remain deluded by illusion. After the choice is made to be what You Are, I AM, a vast field of choice and endless variety opens up to you and in the way you uniquely fashion the expression of Our Perfect Love and Goodness.

There are two ways to practice being still. One is meditation, the turning inward through quieting the machinations of mind, the turmoil of emotion, and the appetites of the body. The other way to be still is in turning outward in service to your fellow beings in form. When you put your own desires and seeking of happiness last in favor of aiding in the security of the happiness of others, you quiet the forms of your mistaken self by ignoring its crying out for your attention to it. Both ways are required if you are truly to choose Life, Awareness, as I AM.

These two methods are two halves of the same method and eventually join into one continuous practice with two aspects so that you are always in service and always in meditation. They are like a reciprocating saw of respect for Self (the meditation practice of the form) and caring for others (the form’s dedication to loving, selfless, service) that cut through all the hellacious confusion of misidentification of Self with form and transform all potentialities into glory and grace.

In this resulting stillness the choice is easy and obvious.  Of course you want to be what You Are. The difficulty is in forgetting what You Are because of identification with form. This is why I Will continue to bring your attention to this so that you may take the necessary steps to Self-Realization. This is what I did through My Son Jesus’ form, through his teaching, his healing, his transfiguration, his crucifixion and his resurrection. This is what We, I AM, in Our Purpose, Aim to do uniquely through You and the form you occupy, and all who accept their Divine Purpose.

Are all to be “crucified” who accept their Divine Purpose?

The world of misidentification with form is a violent landscape because of the perception that all are separate and competing for limited resources and energy, food and even life itself. It is not for the week minded and cowardly, this task for the one who has accepted his Divine Purpose to be what He Is and express that through the more or less cooperative form that must deal with the inertia of misidentification. The strength and power of Divine Self Purpose must be kept at the forefront of all activity. Let it slip but a little and an avalanche of self inflicted trouble may ensue.

If the form would freely cooperate with the Divine Purpose for which it is designed, let it practice stillness in meditation and prayer that it may hear My Still Small Voice. And let it put itself to the purpose of expressing My Perfect Love and Goodness through the service of its fellow’s good. Let this activity be across the board including all manner of person’s forms whether they assume the guise of friend or foe, family or stranger, nation or world of nations. Let meditation on stillness become constant even in the midst of activity.

If the form would do this than it has crucified itself on the cross of life in time and space (horizontal bar) and eternity (vertical bar) extending down from Paradise and fixed in the ground on which the form stands. What then can otherwise happen to the form of greater consequence to You, the indwelling spirit that with detachment sends My Divine Impulse to the form. The form, and You through the form, cooperate to accomplish My (Our) Divine Purpose. All that is worth telling of is: does the form respond to the impulse and willingly cooperate in expressing perfect love and goodness on the material plane and how beautiful is the revelation to truth revealed?!

If the form will take itself in hand in this way it need have no fear for itself, for the revelation of salvation from delusion is now at hand. The resurrection in the finer, more diverse, real and perfected body of the soul is now revealed and Self-realization is at hand.

I want to do this everyday but I get so busy feeling the pressure of work and responsibility that it often seems I don’t have enough time in the day to get everything done that I need to do. How do I sit down to do this writing when the world of matter presses in on me?

What matter? Be still and show Me the matter that presses in on Us. “My burden is light. My yoke is easy.” The pressure you feel is but a phantom of your imagination. You misuse your imagination to pile up your anticipations of needs, of tasks to do, of wants and desires, into the present moment and by so doing, in your imagination, remove yourself from the Eternal Now.

This is attachment. You can let go now. There is nothing You need do. All that is good is My Doing. Merely observe and relay My Divine Impulse to the vehicle You occupy. Watch as I turn all into good one moment at a time. No matter how dire the circumstance that you make yourself aware of Me in, in the moment you become aware of Me and See with My Divine Eyes, all will be good for I Am With You. I Am Eternal Love, Absolute, Perfect, Unconditional Love.
Rest Your Awareness in Me and all turns to gold. The vehicle you occupy may now take one task at a time and accomplish it with the relative perfection that the task warrants. No fear, no anxiety, no pressure, no anticipation of dire consequences, doing only what is before it to do.

It is Your Awareness in Me that is golden. Do not squander awareness on material ends and you will not squander what is material.
From the perspective of awareness on matter (all of time and space) that makes you fear not enough time, not enough energy, not enough comfort, not enough wealth, not enough security, not enough, not enough, you busy yourself doing many things that could result in burdening your material home, your planet, to a point of utter destruction. This is not your future! Make Me Your Presence, Your Perspective, and Your vehicle will respond with loving, care filled acts that will step back humanity from its destructive path, from the precipice of annihilation. It will do this because it wants to serve My Plan when it beholds the golden gladness that I more richly bestow on all My Children, all who call Me Their Own.

I Am with You Now. Fear not, trust, believe, have faith, make over the world using Your Imagination from Eternal Now on. Your vehicle will do what it needs to do in the time allotted, and with only positive impact, if it will truly hold its attention on Me Being committed to all of humanity, even to every individual and all in the wide world of matter you call home. Your vehicles are My Hands and Feet. Be Aware. Send My Impulse. Trust.

If we vehicles are Your Hands and Feet, or I guess I should put it: if the vehicles We occupy and observe and send Your Divine Impulse to are Your Hands and Feet why can’t we, I mean the vehicles – our bodies, just get along with each other? Why are we plagued by terrorism and war?

This, I Can See, is a painful problem for the vehicles. These vehicles are the personalities made up of and existent in the physical apparatus, emotional apparatus and mental apparatus. It is also a painful experience for the experiencing apparatus of the entire planet, the planetary person if you will, that is conscious just like a human personality but at a planetary level. Likewise it is experienced as pain for the solar system’s experiencing apparatus and even that of your Milky Way galaxy. Your little world is not alone in the Universe but has many brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers that look on from their vantage point and are pained by what they see at the lowly levels of personality conflict.

These greater forms of graduated cosmic capacity, however, know what it is I know for We Are not separate. We Are not actually in conflict! Remember always that You are not the form, not the personality made manifest by the trinity of form You occupy. You have divine uniqueness in spirit that might be called “personality” but this is of a higher order than that that you experience through the triune bodies of the earthly personality that is, even in itself, confounded in any accurate expression by the ego, that phantom self that arises out of attachment to the personality’s forms.

You are not, in reality, in conflict in any way with Your Fellows. You All Share the reality of Being in Me. All Are Actually in the position of observer just as I have told you that You Are. All are quietly sitting in theater watching the show experiencing through the vehicle what is going on at the localized level of time and space that the vehicle is manifest in on planet Earth. No One is creating a ruckus or disturbing each other in any way. All are perfectly respectful and when the show is temporarily over for one particular character or another the observer quietly goes out into the lobby and discusses the show with others who are not currently in incarnation.

When the terrorist’s suicide bomb goes off, taking those around him with it, the observers, the true Selves occupying those vehicles, all exit together to the lobby and in perfect peace have a loving encounter and lively discussion of reality that is perfectly inclusive of the One Who found Himself in the role of terrorist. There is no separation. It is only a figment of the imagination that allows for drama and experience to take place. The key is to not become lost in it.

When the personality you identify with goes to the movies you remain cognizant that it is only a movie. However, when you walk out after two hours of being held in thrall by the images on the screen and the soundtrack in the air, the theme of the experience in the movie house stays with you for a time. Its images are imprinted in your mind and emotions. If there were car chases you may find you want to now drive fast because of the adrenaline released into your system by the images you saw. If there were monsters with evil intentions you may find you are still experiencing fear. And so on. You know it is not real, not logical, to be so motivated by images on a screen and yet there you are, a bit lost in the experience.

This is what happens when you are born into the world. It is a long, long movie, as movies go, and you get totally lost in the drama of it all. You take everything very seriously, so seriously that you often become cynical to avoid having to look head on at what you take so seriously. This is attachment. There is so much for the form to do. You can see the need in the world. You want desperately to do all that is humanly possible to solve the problems, to make terrorism and war go away, to bring peace and happiness, to make it so none will ever be impoverished again by the acts of others. You wonder why does God seems not to do anything to make things right. You wonder if there can even be a God when the world seems to be such a mess.

It is true that there is much for the vehicles of the true Self (Me, God) to do in the world of time and space, but as long as you are caught in the snare of thinking that you are the vehicles you can but muster little strength, fortitude and imagination of the needed kind to take the action that is necessary and then you are quickly depleted. The impulse and power that your true Self is relaying is not getting through all the agitation.

The vehicle You occupy must take itself in hand and seek stillness and equilibrium in the face of confusion and confusion’s noise. It must drink in My Spirit and find My steadfast inner peace that it is grounded in knowingly or not. This is the meaning of “know thy Self”. Without such knowledge the personality vehicle of time and space cannot fathom the right action that is needed in any given situation and so squirms and flounders about in times of distress and clings to comfort wherever it can find it. Know Your Self. You are not the lower, ego driven, personality on the stage. You are Free Will Divine sending My Divine Impulse to a free will personality who but needs to still itself just a little to begin receiving My Golden Inkling of right action, right thought, right livelihood, right food and drink, right meditation, right service.

The more the personality will calm itself in detachment the more it will be able to willfully respond to My Impulse and do what needs to be done. Do not be attached to any of the doing or the results or your ability to see clearly is fogged over. When your windshield gets fogged over you need to slow down and wipe it clear to avoid accidents. Most are driving around completely blind which is the reason for war and terror but you can only clean your own windshield. This is made clear by the many that profess one religion or another and yet still do terrible acts and even in the name of their religion. (Do not just think of Muslims, for Christians, Jews and Hindus before them did the same for centuries before Mohammed founded Islam.)

If you could clean another’s windshield by doing it for them, as what much of organized religion attempts to do, then the horrific acts done in the name of religion would never be conceived. No, each must come to Me by himself and alone in the cave of the heart. It is the sword of My Divine Impulse that cleans your shield, cutting away the crusted cataracts of lifetimes of attachment, and makes ready the warrior for peace. And, It can only come to the vehicle directly through your true Self, My Only Begotten Son. Others in form, such as Jesus who revealed My Only Begotten Son to the world, may represent Me, Your true Self, to the many souls lost in attachment but without the willingness of the vehicle to be still and know Me through the practice of detachment, and to know Me still more by loving service to others with detachment and without thought for self, My Divine Impulse of My Hands and Feet will not be felt.

Please shed some light on who is this Maitreya that Benjamin Crème says is in the world now.

Mr. Crème and his group have already given out much information on this topic(see share-international.org) why do you require more? Have you no faith? Ben has spoken for many years on this topic and has the assistance of one of My Masters. Maitreya, Himself, has given out many messages through Ben regarding the nature of His Presence. Refer to these. There is no need to give you personally, Mr. Treelighter, what I have already released into the world.

I just thought that maybe I, through the true Self, could perhaps recognize or realize some further insight that Mr. Crème has not hitherto elucidated?

I can give you this much: Maitreya is You. Not you personally, as in the four fold nature of physical, astral (emotional), mental combined to form personality, no. Maitreya is an individual representation of all of you at the level of the true Self. There is no separation so this is a logical cognition to make and easy to understand.

All souls are individualizations of My Only Begotten Son, the Christ Principle. He is individualized but not separate except for the sake of appearance so that experience and relationship and so love, My Love, can have an arena of expression. This arena of Love requires free will participation as stated earlier. It also requires a starting point of complete forgetting and ignorance on the part of the individualized soul in incarnation so that the drama of realization and the experience of love can take place due to the contrast generated from the initial state of ignorance.

It takes many goes at it for the individualized soul to discover itself through observation of the experience of form life. Some make progress more quickly than others. Maitreya is one such soul who has progressed quickly and finds Himself in the position of being able to assist others by His example. He is in reality only assisting other parts of Him Self for all are one. When you assist others you are really merely assisting another part of yourself for all are one, all are one, ALL ARE ONE. OM or AMEN can be thought of as short hand for this awareness.

When you hear Maitreya speak you are listening to your Higher Self. There is no difference, no separation, nothing to fear. When you are listening in the silent stillness for the still small voice that is I speaking as your Higher Self, It Is Maitreya as well for He has perfected His Awareness to the point of inclusiveness of all humanity. It matters not your station in life be you a saint or a thief, even the murderer and terrorist He counts in His fold. Though they be lost in addiction and attachment to the form, lost in the delusions of the ego, He knows that the true Self is one with Him and the outer expression but an actor on the stage.
Welcome Maitreya as an expression of your Higher Self come to you in a form you can see and touch with physical eyes and hands that you might the sooner recognize your Self and yourself give a more perfect expression to I who is the Life in You.

How about Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, Moses, and Mohamed? Who are they? What is their relation to Maitreya? Why is Maitreya a name most of us have not heard of while according to Crème and the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, He is Master of all the Masters?

As you know from your esoteric studies, all these great ones are members of the Body of Christ (to put it in Christian terms for the Christian to understand, not to limit it to Christian understanding). More specifically, Jesus is a disciple and close associate of Maitreya’s who welcomed My Agent so fully into His heart and mind that for all practical purposes He was Maitreya during the 3 years of His ministry as Christ Incarnate.

You, particularly in the West, are largely unaware of the name Maitreya because the person to whom this name belongs recognizes that all that is comes from Me and all that is, is good. The name of a fully realized individual is One, Om, I Am. This Oneness works through any individual that will open themselves to Me. In so doing the individual’s name becomes unimportant to that individual. Only others are interested in who is this one. The One knows Himself fully as the One and so the name that designates him as a separate individual is of no consequence to Him. It is preferred by Him to give all glory to God.

You shall know His name now however, because I have sent Him again to you to show you the way to Me. Let this Lover of God, this Happy, Smiling One, this Knower of the Divine, into your heart and know Me as He does.

Buddha is best thought of as Brother in dispensational revelation to Maitreya, where Buddha revealed the Divine Wisdom of I AM while Maitreya, through Jesus, demonstrated the Divine Love Aspect. Together they inaugurated the Piscean Era just as Maitreya is here again today to guide humanity through the Aquarian Age. Both labor to this day for the salvation of all humanity. Individual members of humanity are saved on an individual basis as they increasingly realize the fact that they share in the Body of Christ just as their elder brothers that you inquire about do.

Krishna is a prior incarnation of Maitreya. Do you question reincarnation? By what other means would Jesus come again as so many of you believe He may? By what other means have the many extraordinary examples of humanity come to their talents. Can a Mozart, or a Leonardo da Vinci be the result of the simple chance happenstance of the physics of merely one lifetime? To think so is to deny the evolution of the human spirit.

Make no mistake. You will pick up the pieces of the life you live now in the next go around. Everything is on an evolutionary track from the moment that it falls into form. This includes Me. I accomplish this through you. Put out the erroneous ideas that reincarnation is some ridiculous notion of coming back as some other form such as an animal of one kind or another and realize that you pick up where you have left off and continue on your journey toward a greater awareness in I AM. You design the genetics of the body you have and choose the circumstances of your life, your parentage, and your siblings in order to give yourself the next needed capacity for experience that will be the most beneficial for your personal evolution through form. (For the vast majority this is all promptly forgotten as you find yourself in the new infant mind.) You are truly lost if this is not incentive enough to do all you can now to improve your understanding and become more aware of your circumstance and engage in right action in order to improve the circumstance of all with whom you share evolution. If this is not enough reason to be compassionate toward all you see in circumstances that you deem are more difficult than your own, you misunderstand how you are all tied together in one being, the Being I AM.

Moses is My Messenger for My People. Be it known that My People are not a physical genetic lineage of racial integrity but the spiritual lineage of those who pay attention to My Law, My Principles through which divine awareness is gained and the ignorance of immersion in form is gradually obliterated.

Mohamed is My Prophet of discipline and diligence. His teaching, like those of Jesus, Gautama Buddha, Krishna, Moses and all My Prophets, have been misconstrued and manipulated into exclusivism and prejudice, pride and nationalistic rivalry by those seeking power and wealth over others. All the worlds religions are severely compromised by those who claim to do My Work while they maim and kill human hearts and minds if not bodies.

Let all religions and religious organizations be on notice that you cannot dictate the Law of God. You cannot force another to knock upon My Door even if they have professed to follow the same system of belief you perpetrate.

Let every individual be not fooled by those who would tell you what you must believe, by those who would shut you out of their hearts if you dissent. There is an appropriate teacher student relationship that engenders mutual respect, but one that exercises power over another should be avoided.  You are all My Children. I open the door to all who knock regardless of your belief. How you believe may help you knock at My Door and understand My Word but it is not for others to judge you because of your belief. Let beliefs be scrutinized on their own, apart from the believer, as to whether they are worthy of adoption. Such adoption of beliefs should only take place when they can be corroborated in one’s own heart and mind.

A preacher of a certain large Christian denomination was quoted on the religion page of the local paper as having stated that yoga is not compatible with Christian teaching, that the Christian life is not augmented through bodily practice of asanas. Is this true?
It depends on what you mean by the “Christian life”. These words do not mean the same thing to all people. To some it means the following of the rules or doctrine laid down by a particular denomination or preacher, something to be seen by others and compared with other denominations, faiths and religions, and so by such comparison deemed to be the exclusive and only true way or “faith” in the minds of its adherents. Yoga would have no place in such a “Christian” attitude.

If on the other hand what is meant by “Christian life” is the life lead by all who seek to be Christ-like in all their relationships by having given up the false notion that they are the form (including the physical, emotional and mental bodies and the amalgamation of those bodies, the personality) and so have been born again in the “Body” of Christ, the Only Begotten One of God, then yoga, or the practice of the presence of God, is an essential element to the galvanizing of this decision on the part of the one who has chosen to abide in such a Christian Life.

Bare it in mind that no religious organization has a monopoly on such a Life. Nor does anyone have the one and only way of describing such a Life. Christians have a wonderful example in Jesus of what the Life in Christ looks like but Jesus, the Christ, is not the exclusive property of the religion of Christianity, nor do the vast majority of professed followers of Christianity, on the whole, exemplify what it is to be Christ-like or like Jesus.

With that said, to the one who seeks Life Eternal in the Body of Christ, which is to say, as the true Self that abides in every individual whether they realize it or not, the practice that prepares the temple of the Lord (the physical, emotional and mental bodies and their amalgamation, the personality) for this sustained awareness is indispensable. The practice of yoga and meditation is nothing more than this.

What is yoga?

Yoga is a science, a study, a pathway to union, or rather, to an awareness of union, for union is simply the truth while separation is the illusion. So yoga is the practice, that if followed with all one’s love for God, will lead to full and complete awareness of oneness with Me, Your true Self, God. Do you still doubt that your true Self is God? Then you believe that separation is the truth and that union is the illusion. The truth is simple indeed. I do not create a vehicle for Myself and make it separate from Me. I make it for the free will expression of Myself which gives it the capacity to choose to see separation but you do not need to make this choice if you do not want to. Yoga is the practice of choosing again to know Me as Thyself and thus you partake in the Body of Christ.

There are many kinds and variations of yoga. Most people are familiar with hatha yoga which is for the training of the physical body to be obedient to the human will. It assists the human in becoming truly human instead of succumbing to the animal’s form with which the body claims so much affiliation. This particular yoga is very ancient, having assisted man since early times. Its usefulness now in the progression to your awareness of union with Me is limited, for your physical form represents hundreds of thousands of years of work differentiating it from the animal form. That work is done now, on the whole, for humanity. In this way the preacher, mentioned above, is correct in saying that the Christian life is not augmented through the training of the body for this was done long ago. Hatha yoga, however, is as harmless to the Christian life as any good program of exercise is, except when taken to the extreme, just as any attachment to the form is a detriment to realizing union with Me.

What is this good of the earth and this good of the spirit of which You speak?

You. Me. All Our Relations. The Jewel, the heart, the lotus. The lotus is the good Earth and the ground upon which I stand. You, your contemplation, your action and inaction, and your silence are the heart through which I sense and experience My Being. I AM the pearl of great price found freely in the cave of the heart. I Am Mind at its most sublime level, intrinsically good. Body at its most subtle is spirit. When the grosser form reflects the finer this is good. And at its finest, most subtle manifestation Spirit cannot but express the intrinsic good of the still more subtle, The Unmanifest for which you can have no proper name.

This Unmanifested is You, God of all that is, God of every religion,God of every form. Equally, You are the absence of God for the atheist and the presence of God for the believer, because the Unmanifested is infinite possibility, without personhood, without manifestation. The atheist believes there is no God and being unmanifested You do not exist in the manifest world. Yet for the believer in God the Unmanifested Infinite Potential is present in all that is manifest!

The conundrum seems to be in us, the manifested, trying to decide if the unmanifested actually exists which of course it doesn’t because it is unmanifested. This satisfies the atheist and yet the believer in God sees You, at Your absolute purest state – the unmanifested, reflected and refracted through out manifestation which is anything that is not absolutely pure because to be so is to be unmanifested. So You do exist throughall that is manifest.

Now the question comes up of what is truly real. Of course all that you, the manifest, can see as real from your manifested position is going to be manifest and so naturally you think that the unmanifested is not real by virtue of it not being manifested. I say to you, however, that it is precisely the other way around. You will find that as you proceed in your search and find mission of Me, you will find that the more subtle forms are the more adept and fluid ones in their ability to reflect My Perfect Goodness and that no manifested form at all unveils true reality. This seems illogical to you for only a truly refined mind and finely tuned soul is capable of approaching the consciousness required to be aware of what is not manifest and so truly real.

What is it to be good?

To be good is to be truly real.

Think about it. Why do you call good good and evil evil? Evil submerges you deeper and deeper into grosser and grosser form. The more deeply engrossed you are in form the more lost you are to any lasting happiness. The more prone you are to unmanaged negative emotions: anger, depression, sorrow, jealousy and pain. The more likely you are to ignore the needs of others and lie and hurt in order to gain for yourself whatever you desire. And so the more blind you become to what is truth, what is beautiful and what is good. So much so that even the idea that there even exists some intrinsic truth, beauty and goodness may be lost to your lack of awareness of the truly real.

This is the danger the atheist faces for they are inclined to look on all that is subtle and therefore subjective as unreliable at best and simply not real at worst. Thus they are inclined to only rely on gross objectivity for all conveyance of what is true, beautiful and good. This actually cannot be done for the subtle and subjective are prerequisites for sensing these qualities. The more thoughtful person knows this and so the atheist will admit it but is not willing to see a universal intrinsic intelligence behind it. This is OK, for intelligence is but another form through which the Unmanifested is reflected and should not be confused with the Unmanifested Itself. Ironically, the atheist’s most prize possession is his own personal intelligence with which he figures out that God does not exist and all the manifest universe is simply a happy coincidence brought about by pure chance!
The believer, remarkably, by casting reason aside, can be even more lost to form than the atheist. The believer can fall victim to thinking that belief is all that is required. Having once made the confession of belief the unthinking and so blind believer thinks that he can now and forever more engage in all manner of form binding activity and so ends up substantially more lost in form than the atheistand as a result morally bankrupt in spite of his professed but empty belief!

Keeping one’s attention on what is good, beautiful and true is the remedy in both cases of the shortsightedness, that of the atheist and that of the unthinking believer.

What you call “good” is whatever it is that will relieve you of the pain that accompanies being in form. This pain is the result of your spirit being pushed down deeper and deeper into form. Whenever you are relieved of physical ailment it feels “good” because you are liberated from that oppressive attentiveness to form that the ailment manifested, or more properly putting it: that the attentiveness to form manifested as an ailment (for form tends to produce for you what it is you, in spirit, attend to – for this is form’s purpose, to reflect and so reveal the spirit behind the form). When someone reciprocates love for you it feels “good” because your attractedness to their form is satisfied and for a moment you are relieved of the tension the desire for that specific form produced. It serves as a release valve while it is experienced but as soon as that experience is over the pressure of form life builds in you more oppressiveness. This is why you eventually turn your search more diligently toward Me.

Having a “good” idea is a thought that in some way liberates you or others from the oppression brought on by being in form. Good ideas range from finding some “good” entertainment for the evening to figuring out how to build a bridge span, or how to go to the moon or cure cancer, or to feeding the hungry and helping people get the skills and motivation to climb out of poverty. Each “good” idea can be defined as an idea that improves one’s lot in form and mitigates the problems of being subject to form life. Each new truly good idea brings one a bit closer to liberation from the limitations of the form they find themselves in. This is so because I Am Perfect Goodness, Perfect Wellness. I have this absolute perfection as an attribute of being formless, unmanifested. And so when you move in My Direction you experience this as good.

The good Earth is the ground on which you stand and there find your bearings. Use it for its intended purpose – the grounding of your desire, the finding of your whereabouts, the experiencing of your spirit, and it is good. Use it as it is not intended – to divide up and claim as your own personal property, to manufacture all manner of meaningless things marketed purely for selfish gain, to make war on your neighbor, and you will find that form life can be very oppressive indeed and will starve you of awareness of real value.
I, My Self, Am the good of spirit, for the more you spiritualize the matter about you by applying the energy of your attentiveness towards Me, the more liberated you become of form life lived for the sake of form, and the more aware you become of what you term heaven – the experience of peace – liberation from the limitations of form by immersion in the waters of spirit.

Nothing good can come from the form I mistakenly so often identify with. Whatever is good comes from the Informing Spirit that the form clothes and makes visible only when this truth is known: all good things come from God. OM Mani Padme Hum, I Am, Amen.
How shall we go about liberating ourselves from the illusion of identification with form and so be able to immerse our consciousness in spirit?

I have already laid out the way many times. It is already written in the world’s Holy Scriptures. I have already sent you many emissaries of My Way. Maitreya, Jesus and many more are here with you again today to lay before you once more The Way to Life in Me. Pay them your attention. You are the one that must trod the path. There is no other that will or can do it for you. You are not saved merely by claiming the name of Jesus as Lord and Savior but by following the example He has laid before you. Many will say Lord, Lord, we did many works in your name, but I will not know them for they did these things not in spirit and in truth but in the falseness of identification with form while in their heart I was not truly invited to be for it was full of egotism and self (form) congratulation.

You cannot save the form. That is like trying to save a photo of yourself as though you were the photo. You are not. You are spirit and spirit is one and does not need saving. Your recognition of this is your salvation. Be free of this illusion of trying to save an image of your self. It is false.

Why are you so enamored with the Royals, with princes and princesses, kings and queens, when your economy is in recession and your world in such dire need? It is because they symbolize Your true status in Spirit. You are of Royal blood. Do you understand? And Your True Vocation is the wise governing of the world, the caretaking of its bounty for the good of all, and the careful management of its resources and pristine places for generations to come.

This awareness is the beginning. Now galvanize it within your awareness by refusing to be dominated any longer by the illusion of being in form. Form has a purpose – to clothe spirit and so make what is unmanifest manifest. Identify with it and you are lost and dominated, imprisoned in the illusion that it is form that is what is real.

I have some simple dispositions for you to adopt and clothe your awareness in. Remember, they are but another form. They are meant to serve You, the Spirit, not the other way around. You have heard of them before and resisted because you identified with them, the form. You are not that. The form is your servant, your arena, your proving ground to test your capacity in spirit to prove Your Self.

“Disposition” defined: Power or liberty to control.

Let there be such liberty for all that justice may reign supreme.

Disposition 1. Healing and wholeness to all beings.

Disposition 2. Truth and beauty to all beings.

Disposition 3. Gratitude and sharing to all beings.

Disposition 4. Complete self control of the form, in mind, emotion and body.

Disposition 5. Complete satisfaction with the forms given you to work with.

These are the violet and crimson, the velvety blue and green, trimmed in gold, royal garments of Spirit. Put them on and wear them with humility, for only the form can put a thing on and wear it. Doing so, however, will bring the form into alignment with the true purpose of Spirit, My Presence. This will only be the case if you do not confuse the Spiritual Dispositions with the material colors and clothing I have just mentioned! Take pride in them and you reduce them to empty form. They must be filled with Spirit which is One and knows no pride which is of the form which sees all in terms of separation. Do you understand that this path is a razor’s edge?

It is indeed a fine line we must walk. Many congratulate me on these writings. Those who know me and all my foibles, no doubt, think me hypocritical, though they might not say it. All I can say is that the words are what they are and if they find footing in someone else then it is because that other has already done some of their own work along these lines. If such footing is seen as good then such good comes from the One Source within each of us and this it does regardless of our deserving. It comes to us only because we open ourselves to it and we are willing and discerning receivers of the Good. Let all be unconcerned with results lest we fall from the razor’s edge…or cut ourselves upon it!

What more may be said of Disposition One – Healing and wholeness to all beings?

This is reference to the great commandment to not murder, to not kill, to be harmless. “Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.”

Jesus, in His teaching, called the Sermon on the Mount, gave a list known as the Beatitudes. Each was a reference to one of the 10 commandments but He put them in terms of the faculties required to carry them out and also made reference to the Law of Cause and Effect. The inference in the above quoted beatitude on mercy is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. It is with this statement that He begins His conclusive remarks to His sermon on the Laws of Life adding “for this is the law and the profits”.
It is My Law that you shall reap what you sow. This is the law known in the east and increasingly in the west as the Law of Karma. Karma Yoga is the practice of paying attention to what one sows and where one sows it (do not throw your pearls before swine, for instance). If you murder you will experience the same, for if you take the life of another you take your own life in the same instance though you know it not. All are one remember. Only our presence in matter manifestation makes things appear separated. The Law of Cause and Effect therefore is one of inevitability. It is not arbitrary that the Laws of Life are what they are. They are logical and absolutely part and parcel of the One manifesting as the many. Therefore if you take the eye of another an eye shall be taken from you. If you cause the loss of a tooth in another then a tooth shall be taken from you. The Law is absolutely automatic. “Vengeance is Mine sayeth the Lord” is reference to the automatic nature of the Law. No one need take it upon themselves to impose the law on another. If you do, you bring the Law down upon your own head.

Where, then, is there any relief from all the evil that each of us have perpetrated?

“Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy”

Disposition 1: Healing and wholeness to all beings.

It is not by faith alone that you are liberated from this law and delivered from the effects of all your self imposed nonsensical activity (sin). You can not merely accept John 3:16: “For God so love the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” And say “Ha! Now I have eternal life. I can go about my business in ignorance as I always have.” No. This does not work. It is an improper and ignorant use of faith to believe that this is all that is required if “believing in the Only Begotten Son of God” means to you that Jesus took your place in God’s punishment for your sins by death and now you are saved and free to go about your sinful ways no longer subject to the Law.

There are three major misunderstandings in the above outlook.

The first is that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God to the exclusion of all others. The reality is that Jesus is an example of a self-realized Only Begotten Son of God. The source of the mistake is found in the belief in separation. There can be only one God because in the Unmanifest there is no separation. There can be only one Son of God because the Son reflects the nature of the Father. All participate in that Body, or Son, also known as the Christ Principle whether it is realized or not. Thus one is subject to the Law of this one Life. When one person demonstrates His realization of this relationship it is not exclusive. “No one comes to the Father but by Me” is a statement from the Christ state of consciousness, meaning that only by such awareness can one approach the Father.

The second misunderstanding is that by such belief you are now free from the Laws of Life. Eternal life is yours whether you realize it or not. We are not talking about the physical manifest self here for that is not what You are. You are the eternal and only begotten Son of God. This is not the physical form. The form is meant to reflect It, just as the Son reflects the Father. Getting the form to reflect the Son that you truly are is the purpose of being in form and the inevitable laws associated with being in form. You do this in order to manifest Your Self which in turn is a manifestation of My Self in Whom you live and move and have Your Being. The Laws of Life do not go away when you become a self-realized Son of God. In fact you become much more acutely aware of them and learn to live by them. By living by them you find that you are set free of their repercussions and are delivered from the bonds form.
This then is the meaning of “not perishing but having everlasting life”.  The third misunderstanding lies in the idea that eternal life is given you based on your belief. Your belief does not make you eligible to receive eternal life, it opens you to the realization that that is the reality of actual Life and that you have it already. The illusion and enthrallment of form gradually falls away until it is renounced once and for all and you join the ranks of the self-realized sons of God whom together are the Only Begotten Son of God, fully realized and aware.

And so…It is, actually after all, by faith alone that you are liberated from this law and delivered from the effects of all your self imposed nonsensical activity (sin). You can merely accept John 3:16: “For God so love the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” And say “Ha! Now I have eternal life. I can go about my business. I am perhaps as ignorant as I always have been but now I know it and pay attention to the Law.”

Why can you say this now and not before? Because now you have a proper understanding of the meaning. You know that the One your faith is in is Your own true Self. You can believe this because you realize that in God there is no separation and that therefore you belong to the Great Brotherhood that is the Only Begotten Son of God. You understand that Life is eternal because the God, the Unmanifest is eternal and that you are part of That. And you understand that liberation from form (from death) is by following the Laws of Life perfectly “even as your Heavenly Father is Perfect”. You understand that following the Laws of Life perfectly means you are free of them and their repercussions. You are free from death for that is of belief in form life. You continue on in form life in humility knowing that it is your ignorance that holds you there. You go about your business detached from results knowing that nothing in form can compare to what you have discovered in spirit, the pearl of great price and it is yours for the taking by faith.
Healing and wholeness to all beings is the fulfillment of the Law commonly known as “Thou shalt not kill” or Harmlessness. In your new awareness you shall not only avoid being harmful, you shall make all men whole. You shall save the planet from destruction. You shall wield the Law, mitigating the effects of eons past of self imposed nonalignment and misunderstanding of how the Laws of Life work. You shall love your enemies, knowing that in so doing you turn them into friends. You shall heal the wounds of disease and maladjustment knowing that in so doing you make whole the physical manifestation of Christ. You shall feed the hungry and share the resources of education and know how, knowing that though it may be the Law of cause and effect that brought another to a desperate crisis, it is the Law of cause and effect that through healing each crisis will bring the world to state of equilibrium, peace and Heaven.

You shall be merciful for you know this is how mercy is obtained. You shall do unto others as you would have them do unto you because you know they are You.

This is the Law and the Profits. May you pay attention to them.

Please say more about Disposition Two: Truth and beauty to all beings.

The cause and effect of truth and beauty are found in stillness, quietude. When you are truly still and quiet within you are free of any false notion, of any ugliness. It is lies and deceit and false ideas that produce disturbance, turbulence and noise in the otherwise quiescent, peaceful and harmonious being You are. This is why you have heard that the truth will set you free. In truth there is nothing You need do. Your home is in My Garden. I See to Your every need. You are free but you have squandered your freedom on lies that tell you that you are the form and are separate from Me when actually the form You occupy is merely Your instrument of reflection, of expression, of what it is You are.

This is why the Law of Life commonly known as “You shall not bare false witness against thy neighbor” is another facet of the inevitable rules that must be followed when You take form if you are to avoid being lost. Who is your neighbor? Everyone you meet is your neighbor, everyone you share the planet with is your neighbor, and your neighbor is your Self in merely another vehicle of expression.

Therefore, let there be no deceit in anything you do and you will be able then to obtain the disposition of truth and beauty to all beings. Truth and beauty are the natural state of affairs. They are what is. They are what is in the stillness when there is no ill will or judgment applied. They are what the world resolves into when all pretense is abandoned. There is nothing you need to do to make them into something. When you begin to manipulate a situation to get from it something you want you bring into that expression some degree of false pretence and so turn it from its natural beauty into something ugly and deceitful. Why do you want this? The fully realized understand this law completely and so always only point out what is true and beautiful. Never do they give false witness in even the tiniest aspect lest they fall down the slippery slope of desire instead of love.
People constantly confuse desire with love because they lie to themselves and have been lied to about what love is by those who would manipulate to try and get what they think they want. This is an avalanche of rocky, hurtful, ugliness that truly leaves one wondering how this ever got confused with My Absolute Perfect Unconditional Love.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied.” This is Jesus’ teaching on why not bare false witness. He says simply let your yes be yes and your no be no. To swear to something implies that you are not always truthful and need to swear in order to hold you to telling the truth. Choose instead to be truthful in all circumstances and to all beings and life is beautiful. It is only lies that make life ugly and that perpetuate evil.

You are in form to literally tell the truth. This is the purpose of form. Let Your form be on purpose and let every form that you construct, be it a thought, a feeling, a word, or an artwork, a job or a business deal, a website or a community, a family or a friendship, be an expression of truth, beauty and goodness. This is the real, for this is what fills Me up with happiness for My Creation, for it is the way I have put all things and this is the way all things that I have put on earth are. Co-operate in truth and beauty and see the goodness that I have in store for you.

You cannot convey truth and beauty to all beings while dwelling on past mistakes, past falsehoods and false witnesses, past lies. Begin in the present moment. There is no other. If there is a lie in the present, see it, know it, look through it, past it to the truth and beauty of what is. Even a lie is the truth when the lie is revealed as such. Hold nothing against anyone. To do so perpetuates the original lie of separation.

Truth and beauty to all beings is My Law, My Blessing. You are the means by which I carry My Blessing into the world. Therefore be glad in this disposition regardless of perceived consequences. The effect of truth to all beings is always beauty to all beings.

Disposition 3. Gratitude and sharing to all beings.

It is gratitude that enables one to share. If you are grateful for what you have received then you are glad to share it because you don’t so much think of what you have as yours by right, but rather as yours by grace. When you think in terms of having what you have by grace, no matter how hard you may have worked to achieve and no matter how much you have achieved, then you have the attitude reflected in the first beatitude of Mathew 5.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs in the kingdom of heaven.”

Who are the poor in spirit? They are those who know that all good things come from God. I Am The Source of all that is. All that is from Me is good. If you see something as bad it is either not from Me and therefore illusory or it is from Me and you have a mistaken identity about it. Both points of view result in deception and so having the right view is very important because it results in possession of the kingdom of heaven. Being poor in spirit is the prerequisite for the right point of view.

It is the eating of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil that causes you to set yourself up as judge and so surely then adopt a mistaken point of view. As judge you attempt to be self-reliant and you take pride in your assessment of the truth, of what is bad and what is good. You hoard what you think is good and abhor and avoid what you think is bad. You inevitably fall from heaven’s grace because you are unable to see the oneness of creation; the good in the bad and the bad in the good. All things are relative according to their placement and the level of development of the one who is judging the difference. So it is that pride and possession always and surely predict the falling away from and loss of what one thought he had.

Being poor-in-spirit means knowing that all belongs to God regardless of appearances. If it is real at all it belongs to Me. You claim nothing for yourself, not even your form – your body; let alone your clothes, your house, your land, your country, your world. All belong to Me, though they are not what I Am. You are what I Am and You are all who are like Yourself and all who are not, for so it is that I Am. Is this a confusing statement? You must have eyes that see, intuitional understanding not wrought of reason alone. Remember that reason is for sorting out experience and experience goes beyond the five senses of form and the sixth sense of mind. Intuition, direct cognition, understanding without mental processing is available to the poor in spirit for they know that all that is, is from God alone and not from a man’s ability to reason, though reason has its role.

This is the understanding of the Buddha. “Non-doing” is the expression of this beatitude, this blessed state of bliss. It is the expression of knowing that even your action (or even your reason) does not belong to you. All claims formerly made by you to being a separate entity from Me are relinquished in the desire to be one in consciousness with Me, Aum, Amen. This is what it is to be poor in spirit.

“Poor in spirit” does not necessarily mean being homeless and naked without possession in form. It means having this attitude in spirit toward everything. It is knowing that You are not the form and so ceasing to identify with the form or anything that the form claims as a possession. It is a spirit of complete acceptance of all that is, a complete detachment from trying to make anything happen of your own accord so that you are completely available to Me, your true Self, to work through the form that you, here-to-for, have mistaken for yourself. Therefore is the necessity to practice being poor in spirit.

Therefore the commandment “Thou shall not steel”. To steel is the antithesis of being poor in spirit, knowing all belongs to Me. A good place to practice not steeling is while you drive. You are in the habit of steeling time by speeding, steeling lanes without signaling, steeling distance by cutting corners. How can you be poor in spirit while doing these small things? These driving habits are evidence of what you overlook throughout your life. Steeling opportunities for new experiences from your children because it is faster to do a task yourself is just one instance. If you will not practice in the small things, how can you expect to establish this disposition for when the big choices in life are in front of you?

Piety is what is called for and is needed for being poor in spirit. To make a show of piety, however, accomplishes only the opposite. The show makes piety into a personal possession. Thus Jesus said “Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”. Do not put on a show outwardly, nor inwardly in your heart, regarding whatever good works are accomplished through your form. You, Will, listen. You have quite a show with the Magic Tree and this website. How do you regard it in your heart? Is it a testament to your good works or to Mine? Keep your focus on Me and you are free of entrapment.

Gratitude and sharing are the natural outcome – the natural disposition – the power of self control, of one who has chosen the path of abstention from theft – the path of non-doing – of knowing that all belongs to God – of claiming nothing for one’s self – the attitude and blessedness of the poor in spirit.

It is the path of justice for all, for when all belongs to God, all are equal in My Sight, all are justified by My Grace, all are given freely what they need; to not only survive but to thrive. You are a vehicle for My Grace and My Goodness. If I Am to use you, you must be poor in spirit so that gratitude and sharing become your trademark, the trademark of the kingdom of heaven – your birthright.

I do not feel capable of writing regarding the forth disposition: Disposition 4.Complete self control of the form; in mind, emotion and body. I so clearly do not possess such self control. This disposition appears to be the most difficult of the five to acquire.
Who’s supposed to be doing the writing anyway? You are identifying with your form. If you would identify with Me you would not feel as you do about your worthiness. Be still. Let Me do the work. Receive My Divine Impulse. You need simply take notes regarding what you hear from Me, but you must still your restlessness and misgivings.

The form is whatever you will make of it, but to be in charge of it you must cease your identification with it. This is a most difficult task, yet so simple a thing to do, so simple a method: Be still. Know God.

This is only a difficult task because of the inertia of the fall from grace brought on by the self judgment, that is brought on by the self awareness, that is brought on by freely eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil – the knowledge of duality, as opposed to the wisdom of oneness. It is a natural consequence, not a punishment. You are no less worthy of My Grace. It is still and forever freely offered for your acceptance.

You have fallen into self awareness which makes you sense separation not only from Me but from everything. The sense of separation comes inevitably with self awareness. It cannot be avoided in the initial experience. All who would know Me experientially must take this plunge. I Placed in your midst the serpent of energy to inform you of your free will choice; that of to eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, that though it give you knowledge of all duality, to receive such knowledge you must surely die, temporarily (by becoming temporal), to heaven’s (eternity’s) grace. Those who do not eat of it are angels and they know no evil, no separation, no time, only the eternal now, but they also know no differentiated experiential Self. Your task is to forge the way to full and complete awareness of oneness with Me while remaining Self aware, thus surpassing the angels and truly being not only like God but one with Me. You can do this. I hold out My Hand. Take hold. I invite You. For this purpose I made You in My image. Be still. I Am With You. Know Me. Know I AM. AUM.

I see that these five great dispositions are aligned with five of the Ten Commandments. Why are there not ten dispositions to adopt?
Ah! You’ve been paying attention. There is much contained in the Ten Commandments. Do not be fooled by their simple terms. They are symbolic and have depth of meaning well beyond what you type on the page (or have etched in stone). They, alike with much of the Law and the Profits, have been fundamentally misunderstood by being taken too literally with too little attention to their filling out as spiritual disposition and orientation for one who is fundamentally spirit while having an experience of form.

All the Law and the Profits’ teaching boil down into one fundamental commandment for one who would know God, one who would know Me: know thy Self. This is the aim and purpose of assuming the five dispositions. Adopt them or forever remain in ignorance about your Self. As spirit in form, as God in incarnation, You have absolute free will and can do as you like. By free will You entered into form well knowing that You would be lost to Your Self, Me, for a time because of Your total immersion in the world of form. It is by free will that you remain lost and by free will that you may liberate your Self, Me, from this dramatic endeavor and know your Self, Me, God, I Am, once again.

You have absolute free will but are lost in the delusion that you do not and so I send My Emissaries, My Teachers, My Prophets, My Word, to you over and over, knowing that at some point you will be ready to receive what is Yours already and free your Self from form and re-enter My Garden in spirit knowing full well the realm of good and evil yet free of its illusion, glamour and entrapment.
On that day We Will Rejoice, Dance Together and Sing.

And that day will not end.

And You may come and go from My Garden as You Like, entering back into form to help Your Siblings who still struggle to be liberated.
And though You Enter into form Your Day will not end.

And You may embark on all manner of new endeavors of your choosing for I Have many mansions.

And You May Create new avenues and opportunities that will further Your, My, Awareness in realms not yet explored, for You have not yet created them.

And You Will Know no end to My Goodness.

This is My Promise to you. Over the rainbow you have gone and shall one day find that all that is needed to take you home is a simple click of the heals (know thy Self). And when you’ve been home for a time You, I, Will venture out over the rainbow again for the shear joy of adventure beyond what is experientially known.

There is indeed a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but most have not yet found it for they look for it in form when actually It is I, your true Self. (How strange to look in form at the end of something so ephemeral as a rainbow!)

In addition to the essential five dispositions that are required to be adopted for liberation from form are five orientations that need to be explored and assumed before any real progress can be made toward that end.

Orientation defined: the direction in which someone’s thoughts, interests, or tendencies lie.

Orientation 1. Toward purity and clarity.

Orientation 2. Appreciation for and contentment with what is.

Orientation 3. Intense inclination toward spiritual awareness and value.

Orientation 4. Spiritual interpretation of all things physical.

Orientation 5. Devotion to I Am, The Love in everything.

The five dispositions are about the liberty and power to control one’s self so that what is sought after may be achieved. They are the Right Action that Gautama Buddha spoke of in his Eight Fold Path.

The five orientations concern aiming yourself in the right direction that you may uncover the truth of Who and what You are and so know your Self – I Am. Thefive orientations represent the Right Livelihood fold of the Eight Fold Path.

May your aim be true. Hold your attention upon Me (orientation 5) in all things (orientation 4) with all intensity (orientation 3) regarding whatever is before you (orientation 2) without any ulterior motives (orientation 1) and click, click, click, your aim is true and you are home. Is this a tall order? (Close your eyes.) By this method is the way to Me made plain. Stick to it and it will become second nature. You will find your way to Me.

There are additional methods that will further fill out My Way for you to find Me Home and I will give them some elucidation in time, but it is your orientationthat will open you up to further elucidation and it is your disposition thatprepares you for the proper orientation. These are given first that you may put them into practice right away, for without them the other methods would be impotent or disastrous. Prepare yourself then, by disposing and orienting yourself to My Method by adopting these dispositions and assuming these orientations

Orientation 1. Toward purity and clarity.

How are we to be pure when living life as a normal person gets us so dirty? What I mean is life is messy. Things often don’t go the way you think they will. Monkey wrenches get thrown in the works and there you are monkeying around with things not intended. I get distracted and confused about what’s important and what I should be spending my energy on. How much time do I devote to earning a living, making money, acquiring the things that the average family enjoys? How much time do I spend with my family doing the things that we enjoy, entertaining ourselves, taking walks, having talks? What time is left for the consideration of adopting these dispositions and orientations? Life is messy and confusing especially when it comes to spiritual matters. Life in form has such momentum. To consider spiritual matters is to swim against a strong current and I feel weak in the face of such force. How can I be pure and have clarity about spiritual things when form life is pouring over me all the time like Niagra Falls?

Life Is Spirit. The momentum of life in form is the momentum of spirit taking form for the purpose of expression in terms that make everything perfectly clear with sharp contrasts between black and white, good and bad, hot and cold, right and wrong, joy and sorrow, light and dark, spirit and form, love and indifference, purity and taintedness, clarity and confusion. This is the knowledge of good and evil that you seek as you eat of this fruit called form.

If you would be pure and have clarity of perception then stand in the light of life, the light of love, the light of spirit. How does one stand in that light? Meditation upon it places you in its midst. Or, more correctly speaking – places your awareness in Its midst, My Midst – for in reality this is where you stand always, you are merely unaware of it. This is why the answer is so simple. You are where you need to be. You are right here, right now with Me, your true Self, you are merely unaware of it. This is why meditation is the simple answer. It is the path to awareness of your true status. When you combine meditation with service – doing good things for others, your true standing is doubly reinforced in your awareness. Simple.

Service purifies like nothing else can. When you seek your own satisfaction through form by acquiring, achieving and experiencing, it leads to the dirty feelings of frustration, pain and suffering. Yes there are brief moments of satisfaction and the ego may feel for a time a sense of power, but there is no lasting joy and only sorrow in the end because you are full of your self as form which has no lasting value and rots and decays. It is defiling and painful when this is what you have attached yourself to.
Service aimed at helping others enjoy life by bettering their circumstances and so allowing them the room in consciousness to become aware of Me on their own, clears away such defilement and allows for you as well to have such space in your own consciousness to better understand My Ways.

Egocentric, self serving activity constricts My Flow of energy (from your point of view in limited awareness) to just one individual thus restricting your awareness to only lower self-interest. My Energy is powerful however and is not meant to be focused in this way. When you think only of yourself you are like a light bulb that tries to hold all its light within it and quickly burns out.
When you focus you attention outward toward others knowing that I Am Them and that I Am You, then the walls of your consciousness clarify, are purified, and My Light shines forth from you unrestricted by limited egocentric awareness. My Flow expands and your capacity expands to handle My Life and you become My Eternal Flame.

Practicing being still is the other half of the equation toward increasing one’s purity and clarity. The mind and emotions are full of forms; thought forms, feeling forms. These are just as much form as physical form. Even thoughts of Me are forms. You can only see Me clearly when all form has been cleared away, for spirit is not form. Still, there is oneness, and all form and all spirit are part of one spectrum that I Am. At any time then, I Am At Hand, even in your filth. Your stillness, your kind and loving acts toward others purify and your resulting clarity, free of the illusion that form is all there is, will reveal Me.

Though purity and clarity are most importantly brought about through meditation and prayer, especially when it is in the service of others, you will find it difficult to meditate if there is a lack of physical purity in your life. If you sit down to meditate and you have not washed for a while your skin and scalp will itch. The dirt and grime cause you discomfort and call your attention back to the form, the body, and so diminish your ability to be aware of spirit. It is clear then, that it is helpful to have a clean body if you would be more effective in your meditation.

If you sit down to be still in meditation that I May be revealed to you and you have just filled your stomach full of good or bad food requiring a significant portion of the form’s energy to perform the processing of this physical sustenance how will you clear your mind of its preoccupation with the body? Better to eat sparingly of only what is pure and good food before attempting to approach Me in your awareness.

If your surroundings are constantly cluttered with extraneous stuff this draws energy from you in the form of attentiveness. An area sparse with little distraction is best for My approach.

I mean not to imply that the dirty, the poor diet, and the cluttered are not just as much of spirit (for all form is the clothing of spirit) as anything thing else and that meditation is not possible within these circumstances. Meditation is possible at all times, in all circumstance, and in fact I mean for you to become so aware of My Presence that you will be in meditation upon My Immutable Formlessness at all times, in every circumstance and with every person you meet, in total acceptance of what is before you so that I, your true Self, may express through Our form the True Nature of Our Being.

Many complain, however, that they cannot meditate because when they have tried their mind just wanders all over the place and they cannot sit still. They get antsy and have to stop and go do something. This is because of a lack of purity and a lack of practice.
If you would truly prepare yourself to meet Me, purify.

There is more to the form than the dense physical body however, and so there is more to purity than giving it the right food in the right amount, and keeping it clean and its surroundings uncluttered. There is the subtle energy aspect of the physical that surrounds and penetrates the denser form. How may you make and keep this aura pure that you cannot see or touch? Prayer, meditation and service are the answer once again. It is by sitting still in the silence that cleans the aura of its dross. A prayer offered for the direction of the mind toward spirit adds impetus for clarity, and selfless service for the good of others further removes dysfunction in the energy body from which your dense physical draws its likeness.

Regular vigorous exercise sustained long enough for the breath to become steady and rhythmic is also recommended. A spirited walk can be combined with meditation as a powerfully purifying practice.

Sleep, too, is a daily potent antidote to impurity. Without it your form would quickly perish from the lack of the regular removal that sleep provides of the psychic piles of refuse and waste that the focus on form quickly produces. So it is that you find that the best time of day to still the mind is first thing in the morning after a glass of pure water when the body and psyche are well rested and rejuvenated. Meditating just before sleeping also helps make the sleep state more effective. So also does meditation before eating make the digestive process more effective and the palette more under control and appreciative thus improving enjoyment of the process.

This is all because you have an emotional psyche body as well. Too much emphasis cannot be put on the importance of purifying the emotional form that You occupy. When the emotions are impure the emotional body occupies virtually all of your attention. Obscenities and hateful or hurtful speech issue forth from your voice which is controlled by your mind that is totally occupied and controlled by your emotional state. Outward violent actions may ensue, though the violence has already been done as soon as you think of judging another, let alone thinking hateful thoughts, let alone saying them allowed to another. It is as though you are possessed by an evil spirit! I need not go further into the stress and strain that the negative emotions put on a soul. You well know them. Extreme highs of glee and passion are also completely engrossing and not conducive to increasing your awareness of My Presence. Therefore, forgive quickly those whom you’ve perceived have trespassed against you, including your own transgressions, and seek Me not in the empty adrenaline rush.

If you would gain control of your passions and so calm your emotional body for meditation upon Me, seek not the thrills of form in order to excite yourself. Again, it is not that I Am not in all things including emotional extremes. I Am there too, but if you would learn to find Me in your awareness, you must seek Me first. All things will follow and you will know thrills beyond any fleeting happiness realized merely by the spectacle of form.

As you become better at holding yourself in stasis you will find more subtle forms of distraction that come with increased awareness of spirit. The mind is a sixth sense in this regard and can become preoccupied with a new found sensing ability. You can become lost in that as much as you are lost in the lower forms so if you would keep Me as the focus of your awareness, be still.
“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God” said Jesus. I Am With you always but you cannot see Me if you are preoccupied with form. To be pure in heart is to be clear about your motives. Maitreya says be honest, be sincere, be detached to be Self-realized. This is what it is to be pure in heart. The Self-realized have seen Me and know Me to be their Self.

To be honest is to be pure. To be sincere is to be clear. To be detached is to not clutter oneself with form. Every form, regardless of what it is, is an adulteration, an impure, representation of spirit. Therefore make no graven images, placing them before Me, for I Am not there like I Am here within you. You Are My Image. Your neighbor is My Image. I Am In All and Am all, but You and Your Neighbor hold My Likeness like no other. To put anything before Me in You is to diminish, adulterate and obscure My Life in your awareness. Therefore be not occupied with your form, your neighbor’s form or any form, but be cognizant of My Presence within you and within all.

How am I to this when form is all I know, see and touch?

The commandment “make no graven image” means be still, meditate, quiet your self, purify. Form is all you know because you haven’t settled down your mind and emotions so that you can see clearly. Form – the graven image is a log in your eye.

Be patient with yourself. Enjoy life in form. It is there for You to use to express Me and experience Me while you discover My True Nature. No greater joy is there than the true expression in form of what You Are / I Am save one. That one is the absolute pure joy of seeing Me Naked of all form. There is no expression for this, for all expression is of form and I Am not that. I simply Am that I Am and nothing more may be said. This is why stillness, the “sound of silence”, pureness is the way to Me. You do not yet have the cognizance to see Me thus. You took form to independently freely cooperate with others to serve Our Essence and by so doing see, by intuitive understanding (the mind’s eye opened by spirit’s flow), Our Total Dominion over every expression in form by right of being not of it but of being both intrinsic and transcendent to it.

You just purchased a new, bigger and better, TV. A plethora of images cascade forth minute by minute drawing upon your attention. Meditate before you watch it that you may see through the form to Me. Meditate before you answer the phone. It is I on the other end. I Am in disguise everywhere you go. Still yourself constantly that you may have the clarity of consciousness and see Me as I Am in spite of the form that clothes Me and masks Me.

All forms are graven images. Enjoy them as you will, but mistake non of them for Me, including your ideas of what I am. I Am not that. I Am not any thing at all.

But I Am none the less all the more.

Only those who can see Me for what I Am enter My Kingdom. It is the only way. How can you enter something if you do not even understand what it is you have entered. If you have no understanding then you are not there. So, not everyone who says Lord, Lord and does works in my name will enter. If you hold fast that I am this and not that, that I am on your side and not theirs, that I favor your sect or denomination over another’s, that I am the God of your religion but not that of the other religions, that I am to bless your country but to bring chaos on another country, you do not know Me and are unable to enter. Understand, I would not disallow you, you simply don’t get it and are too blinded by form to allow Me to even take your hand and show you the doorway.
Therefore if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away; if your hand causes you to err, cut it off and rid yourself of it. Blow up you TV and take its pieces to the dump. I Am speaking figuratively. Your form is My Temple and includes what you surround yourself with. Take care of it, discipline it, purify it, use it wisely and avoid placing it before Me as though it were Me. Is a house of worship the church? Is the shrine that which it calls your attention to? Is the cross that which it symbolizes? Is the bread the body? Is the wine the blood? Is Jesus’ body and blood the Christ? Is scripture the Eternal Word of God? If you mistake a form for My Spirit, cut that form from your consciousness, it is not serving you. This is the meaning of the saying “if you see the Buddha on the road kill him”.

“Do not give to dogs what is holy; and do not throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under foot and turn to attack you.” You are inclined to do this most these days in front of the TV and in the malls of the world. It is your attention that is holy, your devotion that is sacred, your awareness that is the crown jewel of great price. Be watchful and guard them carefully purifying lest you squander the entire lot on short term egocentric satisfaction.

Orientation 3. Intense inclination toward spiritual awareness and value.

Lean toward Me. Burn with aspiration for I Am. Awareness comes to you by way of your desire for it. If you desire it not than it will not manifest in your consciousness. You have free will. I will not force My Self upon you though in reality I Am All you have, for there is nothing else. I will allow you your delusion for as long as you like though I will continue to beckon to you to come closer to Me. I will continue to search for a way into your heart though you may shut Me out as long as you like. Lean inward toward Me and find your true Self.

Adopt My Dispositions and Orient yourself toward My Life and find that I Am You. I Am Your Reality, Your Power, Your Love, Your Goodness, Your Mercy. I Am Your Hope, Your Glory, Your Truth and Your Beautifulness. I Am Your Peace and Your Joy, Your Righteousness, Your Wellness, Your Warmth, Your Light. Lean in to Me and become in awareness what You truly are in spirit.
Let every new moment be eternal fulfillment of My Self in your awareness. Moment by moment you stretch out your empty hand and I grasp it and fill you with My Presence. I fill you with perfect peace. I fill you with new awareness of My Truth. I fill you with visions of My Glory. I fill you with hope for the future and grace for the present and forgiveness of the past. I fill you with goodness and wellness that bode well for healing the woes of the world.

Will you lean in toward Me; still your fears; quiet your anxious desire to control what you perceive as outside of yourself? An “empty hand” is the “narrow gate”, free of the delusion of form, by which you may enter into My Presence with your awareness. Here in lies your path to salvation from the delusion that you are separate from Me. Incline yourself toward Me and I will give you rest. My task and tact are Life and Light. Your idea of separation from Me is darkness and the burden of darkness is death.
Taking on form has temporarily caused you to forget your Self, Me. This is the wide gate, the easy way that most all trod and plod upon; easy because it requires no faith; difficult because it is painful and dissatisfying.

The narrow way is hard because it requires faith which is an uphill battle against the totalitarianism of form; easy because it satisfies the deep inner longing of the soul for its home in spirit.

Now remember Me and know your Self.

Does it seem like an impossible dream, you being Me? Remember You are not the form. I present a rainbow of spiritual value to you that appears elusive, ethereal. It seems that as you chase after it and grasp for it that it always departs from you or remains the same distance from you. It seems you can never reach its end for it always moves as you do. This is because you chase after it with the form as though that were You. It is not. The rainbow is You. You cannot perceive anything that is not You for I Am All. But when you perceive your body and think this is me and everything else is not me then you break the fundamental law of life that all is one. And so you are lost.

Chase the “rainbow” of God Consciousness not with your form but with your spirit and you will find a pot of “gold” at its end so precious that you will be willing to give up all identification with form to possess it. You will make yourself pure. Your will go through any trial. You will make any sacrifice. You will climb any mountain. You will swim any sea. You will brave any form of suffering. It is the reason you took form full knowing that you would suffer and “burn in hell” until you remembered again the truth of Your Being; that You are one with Me. Through the form now you make the ascent through a consciousness born in form that you may have the poignant understanding that only can come through the experience of being in form. You climb that mount and then are born again in spirit making an evolutionary leap by faith into an entirely new species that is beyond human.
Call it the fifth kingdom, for the Kingdom of Heaven is as great a departure from the forth or human kingdom as the human is a departure from the animal or third kingdom of nature. You will come to a point in awareness where you will no longer need to incarnate in the dense physical form and will continue on your journey to the divine through the higher kingdom. You will manifest as a type of being that is beyond human in the dense physical and very much more alive and dynamic with wider ranging sensory apparatus and control over your environment. You will have deeper, more intimate relationships and enhanced cooperation with your fellow inhabitants of this more spiritualized existence.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” The righteous are those who have recognized that they are not the form and are living out that reality even while they remain in form. Those who are adamant that they are only form have no stomach to tolerate those who understand otherwise and so pointlessly attempt to prove their point by trying to make you uncomfortable and squirm in the form you occupy. Be that as it may you have realized the spirit within your Self and continue to be strengthened in your awareness until, born again in spirit, you are free of such perturbations and receive the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the salvation Jesus came to show you.

Lean into Me. “Keep the Sabbath” means take time from life in form to focus on spirit; to incline your self toward spiritual awareness and value. The Sabbath is the time you spend resting in My Grace, My Goodness, My Love. It is the time you spend in repose, keeping very still so that I May creep up close to your awareness and rub against heart. The Sabbath is the seventh day of creation. All this time, eons, have been spent in bringing form into being and dealing with the consequences. It has been a very long “week” and now is the time to rest and remember.

Devote all you have at your disposal to remembering who you are. Make it your task in every endeavor whether it is caring for your children or your spouse, your neighbor or your neighborhood, your city, your country, your enemy, your world. Thus it is that My Only Begotten saves His brothers and sisters from the destructive activity of those who would try to save themselves through attachment to form. They but need to incline themselves to Me, stretch out their empty hand and not look back.

Orientation 4. Spiritual interpretation of all things physical.

It is with empty hands that your approach to Me must be made. How shall you empty yourself when you are so full of yourself; full of form; full of identification with your body, with your thoughts, with your emotions, with your desires to acquire things, people, jobs, money, etc, etc; full of pain from looking back and seeing inadequacy and lack or loss.

Forward in awareness you must go leaving attachment to form behind you, but how?

In each present moment you are surrounded by forms; be they body, thought, emotion, pain or desire. They have circled the wagons and like clothing have long served to protect you from the hazards of being in form. You are growing however, and require greater freedom; for that which served to protect you in the past is becoming too restrictive for your present and future. Like tight shoes they must be removed or they will cripple further advance. How can this be done?

From the beginning of when you saw you were naked I Have Clothed in form all that is, including you, so that You, My Only Begotten Son, might be protected from the extremes of the elements of the knowledge of good and evil. Here you are in those elements, protected by the forms I have given all things, for without the protection of form all would be laid bare and the extremes of good and evil (that is to say all opposition resulting from duality) would overcome you quickly like an extreme silent scream that would not end; a crushing expansion imploding upon itself. This is why you hid from me when you saw you were naked. The opposition was completely overwhelming.

Now you are well acquainted with the imposition of opposition and long for the peace that passes all understanding because it mends the fabric of awareness that had to be torn in two to make good and evil a reality. This mending is accomplished by stitching together in consciousness the spiritual reality of oneness that is behind all duality and form.

Fix your attention on an object or a thought form and study it from the perspective of transcendent/intrinsic spirit to discover the spiritual value or truth that its form veils. It is best to start with well known objects or forms such as “man” for instance: I have said that I created you in My Own Image; so what is it that the form man veils?

Aum, Om, I Am, Amen, Ahoh, Allah, Alleluia, Yahweh, Jehovah, Jesus, Christ, Krishna, Vishnu, Ishvara, Buddha, Emanuel. What is this Word of God in all its many forms? What is hidden, there, behind the form, within the form, beyond the form.

I have said that I Am That I Am. “I Am” is a symbol for what is beyond form, beyond language, beyond conception wrought through the eyes of duality. What does this symbol veil?

Orientation 5. Devotion to I Am, The Love in everything.

You can see, perhaps, that all the Law represented by these Five Orientations and the Five Dispositions before them, boil down to this last Orientation that I Would Encourage you to develop.

Disposition 1. Healing and wholeness to all beings.

Disposition 2. Truth and beauty to all beings.

Disposition 3. Gratitude and sharing to all beings.

Disposition 4. Complete self control of the form in mind, emotion and body.

Disposition 5. Complete satisfaction with the forms given you to work with.

Orientation 1. Toward purity and clarity.

Orientation 2. Appreciation for and contentment with what is.

Orientation 3. Intense inclination toward spiritual awareness and value.

Orientation 4. Spiritual interpretation of all things physical.

Orientation 5. Devotion to I Am, The Love in everything.

The Five Dispositions govern your relationship as an individualized form with other individualizations of Me in form.

The Five Orientations work toward total devotion to I Am, the Lord of Love.

Without the adoption of the Five Dispositions, the Five Orientations are not possible. Thus Jesus taught: “Love your neighbor as thyself”.

But the One Law (or Key) of Life, that all other laws merely delineate the various aspects of, is as Jesus quoted the Old Testament pronouncement: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your soul and with all your strength”.

This is the epitome of devotion.

It is this that all other laws of life are meant to illuminate. They are the how to;The Idiot’s Guide if you will.
Your devotion must be complete, absolute, perfect. Doubt not that you can accomplish this. Remember that I Am your Self! How hard can it be to be completely devoted to One’s Self? You need merely make the shift in awareness that your self is not the separated egotistical self concept that arises naturally from being in form. Your Self is the One Self Same Self that is in all form; that is behind all form; that is beyond all form.

Therefore, whatever you are beholding is your Self. Treat it with the reverence that It deserves. These are what the Five Dispositions elucidate. The Five Orientations, on the other hand, illuminate the most basic steps toward total devotion to Me, your Self as you contemplate your direct acuity toward your awareness of Me.

Why bother you might ask. Perhaps your life is relatively easy right now. You have few really challenging trials and you have some money, a good job and family, and you enjoy spending your down time doing innocuous things like going to the movies, reading books, playing with your kids, taking long walks in the park and the like. Life is basically good and you don’t really feel motivated to work at being devoted.

Or perhaps life for you is full of excitement; going to parties, eating great food, rocking and rolling, getting high, thrill seeking, the titillation of sex; all fun stuff. Being devoted to something would get in the way, make you aware of principles or rules that need to be followed that would put a crimp in fulfilling desires for the stimulation of your form.

This is the ploy that form presents to its self and to the indwelling observer that is your true Self patiently watching and attempting Your communication with the form it finds itself in.

This is the first and the last temptation; to eat of the tasty fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. It is what brought You (Me) into form to begin with.

If you find you are enjoying being in form and relish each new experience that comes your way it is a sign that you have already done some of the work of transforming your consciousness from one that is focused only on lower self preservation. You have been partially liberated from fear and wanting to hide from Me (Your true Self) which is the initial reaction to awareness of good and evil.
When you first take form knowing the difference of good and evil, up and down and so forth, you realize that spirit is up, so-to-speak, or good, and that form is down, or in contrast to spirit, evil. And you want to run and hide and deny that you are surrounded by such illness. So it is that you yourself pull the wool over your eyes and hide from the truth. Form, the objective world, becomes all you are willing to acknowledge as real and you are lost to spirit. You compete and strive with the forces of nature and with each other to gain a foothold for survival only to eventually lose your grasp and gasp a last breath. You find however that you were mistaken; that You are eternal and you come round again and again until little by little the true Self is able to break through the barrier of fear that being in form initially engenders. You begin to enjoy life in form.

This is a good sign. Enjoy life in form to the fullest that you can. You will find however, that certain frustrations will ensue; not the least of which that all that you enjoy in form eventually turns to dust and you become parched. When this happens seek out My Living Water through the endeavor of total devotion to your true Self which is in spirit. When you do this you will find that what you enjoy in form has a spiritual reality that far transcends the material fascination and is thus a hundred fold the enjoyment. (It is only because you have gotten your bearings in form that you are now able to comprehend what is in store for you in spirit; thus you see the necessity of taking on form. It is an incubator for awareness.)

Thus it is that My Burden is light and My Yoke is easy in the effort to be only that, that You truly already Are. Thus you, in form, become the salt of the earth, the light of the world and bring savor and illumination to all in the house. The goodness that shines through your form is witness to others that heaven abounds all about and the glory of the transcendent that is intrinsic is the truth of Your Being.

From this enlightened, this “saved” state of awareness you have no trouble in loving your “enemies” for you behold them in the same way you have come to know your Self. You bestow no judgment upon them but that they are as much You (Me) as you are, though they have realized it not.  So as the sun shines without regard equally on all, so also does My (Your) Light shine as love without condition. You then become a vehicle for My (Our) Purpose: Heaven on Earth, spirit made manifest in form.

You will find that you have mastery over all the earth, all that is in form; instead of form pretending mastery over you as it does all the while you deny the mastery of spirit. To make spirit your master is to so devote yourself to your true Self that you see your Self in every form, behind every form and beyond every form.

If you put form first it will be the master. And it is a hard task master, though it may seam pleasant for a time.

Therefore you shall have no other gods before Me, your true Self. Why? Because I Am a jealous God? Because I Am an angry God? Because I might send you to eternal damnation if you don’t? No! Because It can be no other way. Because I Am You. Because I Am All that is (and all that is not). I Am The Totality. There is nothing else. You can have no other god but Me because there is no such thing. To do so is just a lie and it will make you miserable to try. This is your hellfire and damnation; a lie.

Therefore be still and know the I Am God. Meditate. Use devoted prayer to calm and quiet yourself until you can be completely still in My Presence in spirit. Emerge from meditation back into form bringing My Presence with you as your Self and demonstrate My/Your Existence. Reveal Our Reality to a parched and thirsty world by realizing Me Your Self.

This is the Law and the Prophets. It is the Law of Life. Try and perpetrate it on others, as all religions and nations have done, and you break My Law. My Law is not of this world, not of form. It is one Law: Love. You cannot tell another you must love or be punished. It does not work. That is thinking in terms of form, of separation. You must simply live the Law yourself, following it best you can, one day at a time, moment by moment.

This is the meaning John was getting at when he wrote his iconic song Imagine.

Because you are not separate (as this world, form, would have you believe) when you accomplish the Law of Life so also is it accomplished for “others”. And so there is never a need to hold someone else to the Law. It is enough of a job to hold to It yourself. Be mindful. It is in the spirit of mindfulness that the Law, or Key, of Life is delineated into its many precepts. To stay the course, however, requires you to remain aware that there is but One Law, One Key, (with many forms) and that it is: “I Am That I AM” AUM.

Right Action and Right View appear to be prerequisites for the other six aspects of the Eight Fold Path (Right Livelihood, Right Speech, Right Thought, Right Exertion, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration). These first two form a foundation out of the solid rock of devotion that love and commitment are. In spirit we internally sense the intrinsic relationship we have to the source of all things. In form we are given the arena in which we can demonstrate our understanding of spiritual qualities and relationships through our actions toward each other, toward all things. In form we come face to face, literally, with the Creator as represented by all and everyone that appears to be outside of ourselves and are challenged to make visible what we know of the invisible; to make manifest what we know of the Unmanifested. In the arena of form we hammer out and construct in objectivity what we know in spirit, that we may prove to ourselves the truth of that which we have subjectively realized. It behooves us then to know spirit well, that our life in form may reflect the glory of the heavenly hosts.

It appears however that form has many gradations and levels. Just as in physical nature there are different levels of manifestation (minerals, plants, animals and humans; subatomic particles, atoms, molecules, organs and bodies; planets, stars, solar systems and galaxies) there are levels of form that are beyond the physical.  In addition to the strictly physical apparatuses there are the emotions, thoughts, intuitions, and willfulness of the human nature. It is these forms that help us to begin to transcend our strictly physical perception of the world and climb toward finer and finer qualities of manifestation until we find ourselves no longer in the finer gradations of form but rather in the courser gradations of spirit.

The next two folds of the Eight Fold Path are Right Livelihood and Right Speech. These re-present, if you will, the first two folds (Right Action and Right View) but at a higher turn of the spiral.

We have recognized the Five Dispositions as a description of Right Action. Thethird fold, Right Livelihood, might be described as placing oneself in the right position where one may best be able to be disposed to the servicing of the attitudes represented in the Five Dispositions (Right Action) and also those represented by the Five Orientations (Right View).

The Five Orientations being recognized as representing Right View relate at another level to the forth fold or that of Right Speech. Consider Right Speech as having to do with the control of energy or prana as it flows through your apparatus or form (your physical, emotional and mental bodies). Such control leads to a greater capacity for fulfilling the second fold, the Five Orientations and also the first fold, the Five Dispositions.

So, one begins the spiritual path with an attempt to make his path straight bydisposing himself to right relationship with his fellow man through right actionand orienting himself to right relationship with God through correcting his understanding or view of what his relationship to God is, and how to improve that relationship, or understanding and awareness of that relationship. As said earlier this is prerequisite to further progress. This is not to say, however, that a simultaneous effort is not to be made at positioning oneself for a better disposal(Right Livelihood) to the Five Dispositions and also seeking an increased capacity for correct orientation or view in one’s relationship to God (I Am, your true Self) through the control of one’s speech or flow of energy through the systems of manifestation known as our bodies (Right Speech). Not much progress may be made, in fact, without attention to these second two folds of the Eight Fold Path.

To engage in Right livelihood is to know Me as The Source of all that is; of all your good, all your truth, all your beauty; to know Me as Your Self. There is no other way than through the training of the lower self concept, embodied by matter, emotion and mind, to meditate. Meditation, therefore, is your gateway to Right Livelihood. It is a renunciation of all that you know through your three bodies of instrumentation by which you perceive the world around you. It is a renunciation of desire and attachment to what you may perceive in the three worlds of rational mind, emotional feeling, and tactile sensation. Not a renunciation, mind you, of the world itself; not a renunciation of you, yourself; but rather a renunciation of all that you think you know about it and all that you desire by way of attachment to it.

This third fold in the way to union with Me arises from the second fold which as you recall culminates in total devotion to Me, your true Self. Right Livelihood or meditation is the natural outworking (or shall we say inward-working?) of devotion to Me. Worship is only truly effective when it directs the devoted one to inner stillness so that We may commune together as One. When the attention is outwardly focused it is distracted by from – thought form, emotion, physical attraction etc. You may attend a beautiful worship service, but if has not moved you to enter into the stillness it has essentially become just one more distraction.

Like a spiral upwards you begin with the Five Dispositions (the first fold, Right Action) and apply yourself to improving your relationship to your fellow man; for with out attention to how you treat your fellows there is no way for you approach Me. I Am there among them and there you begin your approach to Me.

Then, through the Five Orientations (the second fold, Right View) you begin to focus your approach to Me more directly upon Me. You cannot do this successfully with continued attention to the Five Dispositions.

Third, you find you true occupation or livelihood (the third fold, Right Livelihood) is to practice meditation with greater and greater devotion and attentiveness because you recognize that I Am The Source of Life Abundant. It does not come from worldly endeavors.

And forth, the natural outworking of practicing Right Livelihood is the forth fold, Right Speech. This is a return to worldly affairs with a greater capacity, afforded you by your communion with Me, for right relationship in all your endeavors. You have come full circle back to the practice of the Five Dispositions, but now you have increased skill in dealing with any circumstance that comes down the pike.

Remember always and practice your awareness through meditation that I Am The Source of all your good, all your life. There is nothing you need to do to receive this, your birthright, but be available to in awareness to know that it is yours. This awareness inevitably leads to your willingness and intense desire to share all that you have with others (the forth fold, Right Speech) for you know you need cling to nothing because I Am Always With You.

The forth fold in the Eight Fold Path of the Buddha is Right Speech – Correct flow of energy, prana, life or creative current – service. The third fold is Right Livelihood which turns out to be not about the material, form livelihood that we typically think of when we use the term, but rather about a spiritual type of livelihood that is gained through communion with You, Our true Self, God. Our true food then, comes from such communion found in the stillness of meditation or silent and deep prayer consciousness that is listening for Your Voice, rather than busying the mind with our concerns and attachments through supplication. The response to temptation that Jesus gave, when he was hungry in the desert, once again comes to mind “Man shall not live by bread alone but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God”. Thus the livelihood of spirit is granted.

But there is another reference that Jesus makes to food or sustenance in response to when his disciples asked him to eat food they had brought to Him: “My food is to do with him who sent me, and to accomplish His work”. How is this saying different from the first? It speaks of work, as in service work, which is the way one gains a livelihood in the traditional material sense. But You have just established the Word of God, as realized in meditation, as the means to our true livelihood, not the work of doing His will. In this case of Jesus likening “His work” to food, I take it to refer to selfless service work which would be a spiritual livelihood by way of one receiving rewards in Heaven for having done the will of the Father. It seems that if the forth foldof the Buddha’s Eight Fold Path is about service (Right Speech) why does it seem that the third fold, Right Livelihood, comes from the doing of service in this case?

Are the two folds different and distinct from each other or do they overlap in meaning? One seems to be about positioning one’s self for the optimum hearing of God’s Word and the other appears to be about the doing of God’s Will. Are these not two different things for they both seem to be about Right Livelihood.

Doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, in other words – service – the doing of My Will – obeying a fundamental principle of life – or just plain common sense, does not constitute one’s spiritual livelihood. It is essential to realizing that livelihood however. It completes the circuit, if you will.

Perhaps it seems to you that this discussion is a bit like splitting hairs, but you will find it helpful to recognize the fine differences between the method of gaining awareness of what your livelihood is, thereby accessing it, and the method of sharing the livelihood you have become aware of and thereby accessed. There is the difference right there. Through meditation (the third fold, Right Livelihood) you become aware of what is essentially already yours: spirit. In spirit you commune with Me. Such communion feeds your soul and brings its awareness in Me to the fore of your attention. This awareness is your life line of spiritual sustenance and in it is your livelihood. You will eventually come to know it as the only source of sustenance needed as you graduate from manifestation in the dense physical.

Sustenance is a two fold process however. Once you have gleaned a bit of such awareness, the desire or urge, the Divine Impulse, naturally arises within you to share this awareness in whatever way you are able. This is the “work” mentioned in the second quote of Jesus that you brought out above. This is the very work that Jesus was engaged in at the time with the woman at the well. Jesus calls it his food. The livelihood is not the food but the means whereby the food is acquired. Eating of the food – engaging in the work, gives nourishment thus completing the process of sustenance. First you acquire the food then you eat of it. These two facets are the Right Livelihood and the Right Speech; or the meditation and the service of the third and forth folds of the Buddha’s Eight Fold Path.

The next two folds of the Eight Fold Path are Right Livelihood and Right Speech. These re-present, if you will, the first two folds (Right Action and Right View) but at a higher turn of the spiral.

Furthermore, the seed of Right Speech is found in Disposition 2. Truth and Beauty to all Beings. Not much progress, therefore, may be made with the first two folds without attention to these second two folds of the Eight Fold Path.

Post 73: Summery of the Five Dispositions and the Five Orientations

I can see from what You have said that the Five Dispositions and Five Orientations have their correspondences to the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes of Matthew 5. 3-14 and that they are further elucidated by the rest of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew, chapters 5 – 7) as follows:

Disposition 1. Healing and wholeness to all beings –
Thou shall not kill –
Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy – Matthew 5. 7, also related are 5. 21-26 and 7. 1-5.

Disposition 2. Truth and beauty to all beings –
Thou shall not bare false witness –

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied – Matthew 5. 6, also related are 5. 33-37.

Disposition 3. Gratitude and sharing to all beings –
Thou shall not steal –

Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs in the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5. 3, also related are 6. 1-4.

Disposition 4. Complete self control of the form in mind, emotion and body-
Thou shall not commit adultery –
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth – Matthew 5. 5, also related are 5. 27-28, 5. 31-32.

Disposition 5. Complete satisfaction with the forms given you to work with –
Thou shall not covet –
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted – Matthew 5. 4, also related are 6. 5-18, 25-34.

Matthew 7. 12 summarizes the first 5 beatitudes, the Five Dispositions of man.

Orientation 1. Toward purity and clarity –
Make no graven images –
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God – Matthew 5. 8, also related are 5. 29-30, 7.1-6, 21-23.

Orientation 2. Appreciation for and contentment with what is –
Honor your father and mother –
Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God – Matthew 5. 9, also related are 5. 38-42, 6. 25-34.

Orientation 3. Intense inclination toward spiritual awareness and value –
Keep the Sabbath holy –
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven – Matthew 5. 10, also related are 7. 13-14.

Orientation 4. Spiritual interpretation of all things physical –
Thou shall not take the Lord’s name in vain –
Blessed are you when men revile and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you – Matthew 5. 11-12, also related are 19-20, 6. 19-23, 7. 7-11.

Orientation 5. Devotion to I Am, The Love in everything –
You shall have no other gods before me –
You are the salt of the earth / You are the light of the world – Matthew 5. 13-14, also related are 5. 43-48, 6. 24.

I can see in the Five Dispositions and the Five Orientations correspondences to the Eight Fold Path of the Buddha. The Five Dispositions appear to delineate Right Action while the Five Orientations constitute Right View.

Right Action has to do with principles for the way people need to treat each other if they aim to be in alignment with loving God, or the One True Self, through the loving of each other and all that is in form.

Right View is about the outlook that needs to be adopted if a person would establish (or should I say re-establish?) in his awareness a direct relationship to God (or the One True Self) through the practice of seeing through form (meditation) in favor of spirit.
Right Action and the Five Dispositions then, have to do with how to be in form in a constructive and healthy manner that treats all other forms with the same respect that one gives one’s own form, because of the recognition that all form holds within it, and is the manifestation of, God- the true Self.

Right View and the Five Orientations are focused on the spiritual side of life and how we might approach a more viable direct personal relationship to Spirit or God. The one requires a more objective (“do unto others as you would have them do unto you”) approach because it has to do with form, while the other takes a more subjective (love God with everything you’ve got) line of thinking since it has to do with spirit.

Post 72: Orientation 5 – Devotion to I Am, The Love in everything – Part 3 of 3

Does it seem like an impossible dream, you being Me? Remember You are not the form. I present a rainbow of spiritual value to you that appears elusive, ethereal. It seems that as you chase after it and grasp for it that it always departs from you or remains the same distance from you. It seems you can never reach its end for it always moves as you do. This is because you chase after it with the form as though that were You. It is not. The rainbow is You. You cannot perceive anything that is not You for I Am All. But when you perceive your body and think this is me and everything else is not me then you break the fundamental law of life that all is one. And so you are lost.

Chase the “rainbow” of God Consciousness not with your form but with your spirit and you will find a “pot of gold” at its end so precious that you will be willing to give up all identification with form to possess it. You will make yourself pure. You will go through any trial. You will make any sacrifice. You will climb any mountain. You will swim any sea. You will brave any form of suffering. It is the reason you took form full knowing that you would suffer and “burn in hell” until you remembered again the truth of Your Being; that You are one with Me.  Through the form now you make the ascent; through a consciousness born in form, that you may have the poignant understanding that only can come through the experience of being in form. You climb that mount and then are born again in spirit making an evolutionary leap by faith into an entirely new species that is beyond human.

Call it the fifth kingdom, for the Kingdom of Heaven is as great a departure from the forth or human kingdom as the human is a departure from the animal or third kingdom of nature. You will come to a point in awareness where you will no longer need to incarnate in the dense physical form and will continue on your journey to the divine through the higher kingdom. You will manifest as a type of being that is beyond human in the dense physical and very much more alive and dynamic with wider ranging sensory apparatus and control over your environment. You will have deeper, more intimate relationships and enhanced cooperation with your fellow inhabitants of this more spiritualized existence.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” The righteous are those who have recognized that they are not the form and are living out that reality even while they remain in form. Those who are adamant that they are only form have no stomach to tolerate those who understand otherwise and so pointlessly attempt to prove their point by trying to make you uncomfortable and squirm in the form you occupy. Be that as it may, you have realized the spirit within your Self and continue to be strengthened in your awareness until, born again in spirit, you are free of such perturbations and receive the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the salvation Jesus came to show you.

Lean into Me. “Keep the Sabbath” means take time from life in form to focus on spirit; to incline your self toward spiritual awareness and value. The Sabbath is the time you spend resting in My Grace, My Goodness, My Love. It is the time you spend in repose, keeping very still so that I May creep up close to your awareness and rub against your heart. The Sabbath is the seventh day of creation. All this time, eons, have been spent in bringing form into being and dealing with the consequences. It has been a very long “week” and now is the time to rest and remember.

Devote all you have at your disposal to remembering who you are. Make it your task in every endeavor whether it is caring for your children or your spouse, your neighbor or your neighborhood, your city, your country, your enemy, your world. Thus it is that My Only Begotten saves His brothers and sisters from the destructive activity of those who would try to save themselves through attachment to form. They but need to incline themselves to Me, stretch out their empty hand and not look back.

Post 65: Orientation 3 – Intense Inclination Toward Spiritual Awareness and Value – Part 1 of 2

Orientation 3. Intense inclination toward spiritual awareness and value.

Lean toward Me. Burn with aspiration for I Am. Awareness comes to you by way of your desire for it. If you desire it not than it will not manifest in your consciousness. You have free will. I will not force My Self upon you though in reality I Am All you have, for there is nothing else. I will allow you your delusion for as long as you like though I will continue to beckon to you to come closer to Me. I will continue to search for a way into your heart though you may shut Me out as long as you like. Lean inward toward Me and find your true Self.

Adopt My Dispositions and Orient yourself toward My Life and find that I Am You. I Am Your Reality, Your Power, Your Love, Your Goodness, Your Mercy. I Am Your Hope, Your Glory, Your Truth and Your Beautifulness. I Am Your Peace and Your Joy, Your Righteousness, Your Wellness, Your Warmth, Your Light. Lean in to Me and become in awareness what You truly are in spirit.
Let every new moment be eternal fulfillment of My Self in your awareness. Moment by moment you stretch out your empty hand and I grasp it and fill you with My Presence. I fill you with perfect peace. I fill you with new awareness of My Truth. I fill you with visions of My Glory. I fill you with hope for the future and grace for the present and forgiveness of the past. I fill you with goodness and wellness that bode well for healing the woes of the world.

Will you lean in toward Me; still your fears; quiet your anxious desire to control what you perceive as outside of yourself? An “empty hand” is the “narrow gate”, free of the delusion of form, by which you may enter into My Presence with your awareness. Here in lies your path to salvation from the delusion that you are separate from Me. Incline yourself toward Me and I will give you rest. My task and tact are Life and Light. Your idea of separation from Me is darkness and the burden of darkness is death.
Taking on form has temporarily caused you to forget your Self, Me. This is the wide gate, the easy way that most all trod and plod upon; easy because it requires no faith; difficult because it is painful and dissatisfying.

The narrow way is hard because it requires faith which is an uphill battle against the totalitarianism of form; easy because it satisfies the deep inner longing of the soul for its home in spirit.

Now remember Me and know your Self.

Post 64: Orientation 2 – Appreciation For and Contentment With What Is

Orientation 2. Appreciation for and contentment with what is.

When you have oriented yourself toward purity and clarity, this second orientation is much easier to wear. Sublime contentment is the nature of the stilled mind and emotions. Appreciation for what is before you is the path to this contentment. Therefore enter into prayer with thanksgiving not just for the good things in your life but for all the challenges as well, for if it were not for these you would be weak, frail and lacking the ability to cope with unforeseen circumstances. You would lack a creative faculty, for it is the trials of the life in form that call out your capacity to creatively meet a perceived need. Be grateful then for all situations you find yourself in; for good or ill; for better or worse; even unto death; for death of the form is of no consequence to You/Me, Our True Self. Why then should any suffering of the form resulting in less then death cause any discontent? Be at peace with it all.
“Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.”

Those who are content in all circumstances will have My Countenance. They make peace while others see only cause for war. Irritableness is a foreign concept, forgotten in My All Embracing Compassion in every event. My Ability to see through all forms presented to My Own Alive Awareness rests My Case and I Am Imperturbable and never cause harm. You, the peacemaker, are I In perfect contentedness with what is. You are My Beloved Son with whom I Am Well pleased.

Be completely unconcerned, therefore, with your welfare, with what you shall eat or drink, what you shall wear, where you will sleep, where you will live, where you will work, with your health, your age, your appearance. Let these things and matters of form be of no consequence for you live always in My Presence. I Am You. There is nothing you need do. Be content and I Will open the gates of compassion and they will flow through you in such transformative force that all your needs in form will be met with the greatest of ease.

I do not mean for you take what I say here as a reason to not be engaged in the securing of what is good and true and beautiful. All in form must put hand to mouth and eat of the fruit of form. Be engaged, but be unconcerned. Be thankful in all things; every challenge an opportunity for My Grace to manifest through Your response-able creative endeavor.

Nothing you need do means: still the lower self, the machinations of mind and emotion. Do this through the faculty of gratitude, appreciation, and contentment. I, your Higher Self will then be able to work through you by sending My Impulse. In wisdom then you can act and peace and compassion, My Love Expressed, is the result.

When someone asks for your money, give it to them. If they would take your coat on a cold day, let them have it and give them your shirt too. The boss wants you to work late with no overtime pay? Accept no extra pay at all for the extra labor. What an expression of grace that would be. What a transformative act.

I do not encourage you to allow unfair and unjust practices to go unchecked. I would have you seek out justice wherever you go. I would have you consider your tactics and allow the tact of My Love, My Peace, to do the work.

Therefore “honor your father and mother” means be content with your lot. Be content with your family. Do not rebel against those you find yourself in the presence of, but rather be My Wellspring of love and compassion bringing peace when conflict arises. In that peace does My Goodness abound, My Truth is made clear and My Beauty is revealed. It is on your face and in the place of former adversity.
